Jihadi attack in Jaipur?

15 people reported being killed; Unofficial count already at 20.

Rajasthan DGP says it is a terrorist attack.

This report says there were 6 blasts but the number may have been seven

“…the blasts took place within a span of 12 minutes of each other — which seems as if it was is a planned and well-organised attack.

Speculation is rife that this could be the handiwork of Lashkar-e-Toiba, but the authorities say that they need some more time to verify this. The bicycles indicate a that there could be a similarity to the Malegaon blasts in 2006.” (from IBN Live)

More on this later…as I keep getting the news…

Another SAD day for India

The spineless, bloody dishonest morons in our media channels are beginning to infuriate me.

…Jihad is not an act of cowardice. It is a high religious act for devout muslims – targetting kafirs on dar-ul-harb.

Wake up please and speak the truth. Unless this nation acknowledges that Muslims must disown and give up jihad, unless they ignore a part of their koran, they cannot live in peace, they will not allow hindus to live in peace.

Unless christians give up evangelisation, religious conversion, they will not live in peace, they will not allow hindus to live in peace.

Jihad and christian evangelization have the same objectives.

Hindus must now seriously ask and answer – what is the place of these two religions on Hindu bhumi and what is the place of devout adherents of these two faiths amidst the dharmis.

…I think serious introspection is called for now.

It is a sad news. What is happening to our India? No caretakers?

Also see the map of India they have shown in the news. Our map has been changed? I didn’t know? Since when?

The predictable condemnation: Pak PM condemns terror attack in Jaipur

“…Pakistan’s Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday night strongly condemned the bomb blasts at Jaipur that left at least 60 killed and many injured.

“Pakistan condemns all acts of terrorism and reaffirms its firm commitment to fight this scourge together with the international community,” Gilani said in a message.

This is even as former Jammu and Kashmir CM, Farooq Abduallh publicly said three days ago:

“…the former Chief Minister claimed that militants’ camps are still intact in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) and urged the newly constituted Government in that country to review its policy towards Kashmir.

“Don’t live in euphoria. militants camps are still intact in POK”, he cautioned

  4. Dear All

I’ve just finished reading Benazir Bhutto’s book “Reconciliation” – which she completed literally the day before she was killed by the people she opposed the whole of her life – namely, extremists who do not represent Islam even tangentially. I’m not sure if this book has reached bookshops in India – if it has please read it. A must read.

It is obvious from a reading of her book – where she has quoted numerous Islamic scholars – including those from India – that the message of Mohammed has been long since been overtaken by tribal fanatics; the same people whom Mohammed essentially fought against.

What ‘extremist’ Islam is today has little of Mohammed’s arguments of tolerance, knowledge, and women’s rights. It has, instead, been poisoned deeply by many tribal customs and its concepts of tolerance and openness completely set aside.

That, by the way, is very similar to what happened to Christianity for nearly 1500 years, and is beginning to happen to Hinduism today.

It is therefore important for educated leaders and opinion-makers, including journalists, to allow the voices of genuine Muslims like Benazir Bhutto to rise above this din of fanatic voices so people can realise why Islamic cultures in the ‘Dark Ages’ of the West were able to keep the lamp of knowledge lit in this world. And how Islamic nations and people can recover that prestige if only they revert to the universal principles of freedom and tolerance espoused in the Koran.

    Regards
    Sanjeev

    Hi Sanjeev,
Good job, you read Benazir Bhutto’s book. You will now do well to see her video when she was the Prime Minister in which she exhorted the “people of Kashmir” to cut and wipe out kafirs from the ‘sarzameen of Kashmir’. She was so effective, with her screaming frenzy in the speech that the jehadis, against whom she passed platitudinous criticism in the book, actually did what she had asked them to do.
Yes, Pandit women were raped, their husbands massacred in their presence and every Pandit has been thrown out of the Valley. Have you seen or read about the atrocious conditions in which 350,000 Kashmiri Pandits live?
She was not a ‘tribal’. And fanatic? You make your own decision after you see the video, which you can find in the portal of Panun Kashmir.

When will we learn something ?
What islam your are talking about ? There is no peaceful islam ! except in minds of people like Sanjeev.
…if only they revert to the universal principles of freedom and tolerance espoused in the Koran this simply shows that you know nothing about islam !

    ***
One fundamental policy of Islam is their disgust and hatered for Hindus. Without this Islam is not Islam. Of course, if she wanted to attain respect of Pakiatanis (muslims) she has to pour venom about Hindus ! That is how you become a leader in muslim countires.
Besides, she was a woman, wore no burqa, wore make-up : maulvis disliked her, to overcome this handicap Benazir Appa had to put an extra dose of anti-hinduism in her rehotric.

I feel appaled by gullibility of people like Sanjeev

    HuJI link becoming clearer:

Intelligence sources said that they were looking at the involvement of Bangladesh-based Harkat ul-Jehad-e-Islami (HuJI). A lot of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants live around Jaipur’s railway station and could have provided the crucial support to terrorists.

Some of you may have already noticed and felt sad about the irony of a united country facing this onslaught…
The politicos in Mumbai who has been so assiduous in making sure everyone knows who is an “insider” and an “outsider” have not said a word about illegal Bangaldeshi immigrants in the city.. 🙁
And all we can do is talk of a united country.

Rajasthan Patrika’s headline says it succinctly: “Sanyam ki Pariksha” – Test of Patience. Some notes from Shivani, courtesy Bharat – Rakshak:

…The army has been alerted (By whom? For what?)

…200 NSG commonados have been “demanded”. (what for?)

…While there have been explosions at Badi Chopar, Tripolia, Chandpol etc, curiously Ramganj has been excluded from the hit list. Ramganj is just as much as part of walled city, and it also has the densest / highest population of muslims. (non muslims and even police fear to go there even in best of times….).

…There is a very small snippet in Rajasthan Patrika that lamented how easy it is for Bangladeshis to get Ration cards, driving licenses, fake identities etc in India.

See my recent post in which I had mentioned about how easy it is to get fake passports etc. The conclusion of the post was:

Looking at the way in which the tentacles of terror are spreading, I wonder, is any state/city now safe?

    🙁

    Dear Sir,
Thank God the parliament is not in session, otherwise we will have the inane statements of condemnation by various members of various parties and the statements issued by the Home Ministry that everything is under control and all help will be extended to all the dead by the center.
We will also have the BJP and other parties rising up to the occassion and reminding all of us about terrorism and et. al. and screaming hoarse in the parliament.
Finally we will have the western press pointing out the disruption of the parliament by the “HINDU PARIVAR” and how it is costing the exchequer so much and so forth.
We will also have the asinine statements of arm chair ,A/c room critics discussing as to how it has happened and how it should not be repeated in the rooms of the centers of the international western led media.
Finally the losers are WE the BHARATIYAS and BHARAT.
Let us fight to get the illegal Bangladeshis out of this country, come what may, Candle Light vigils, petitions from noble Laurates, peace lovers, petitions in court, COME WHAT MAY get those thugs out.
Get them out of this country by implementing the law which the Supreme Court has established over riding the ONE COMMUNITY friendly IMDT law.
Let us true BHARATIYAS hold Cancle light vigils, petition the courts, call for anti noble laurates meets, DO EVERYTHING in our hands to GET THESE THUGS out.
Let them stew in their own poison as much as I care for them.
That I think should be the first step for the Freedom Team to implement the law of the land in Truth and Spirit.
I am sick and tired of these external criminals coming in, accepting our salt and maiming us.
It is not a case of “Let my people go”, it is a case of “Let them GET OUT”.
    Regards,
    vck

  9. Yes, what is the use of NSG commandos and army etc. Even if they somehow manage to get their hands on the murderers who have done this the courts will be unable to punish them as ever ! Arundhati Roy and others will put up another show to reduce us to shame if our law will attempt to punish them.

Remember what Outlook said : “….The fight for Mohammad Afzal’s life is a fight for all that is good and meaningful in Indian democracy; the cry for revenge and his death represents the dehumanized and authoritarian aspects of the Indian State and civil society…”

Yes, Sanjeev, you have been very gullible here, although you have already been excoriated by Narendra and Jagmohan for the same!

Benazir was no angel of peace – taking on the “militants” at this point in time was just a ploy to make peace with the US, and be returned as PM of Pakistan. She is on record, as Narendra pointed out, of inflaming sentiments at the least and arming the terrorists at the worst when she was PM of Pakistan.

Why would you expect her to paint anything but a self-flattering potrait of herself in her autobiography?

And, I remember that it was her father who vowed to fight a 1000 year war against India ……

    RE: Shantanu
No state is safe ……. this is the stark truth, and we better get used to it. Of course, our honourable home minister and prime minster are still wondering what they should say about this latest friendly reminder from our friendly neigbhours.

    And Shantanu, you said:

“The politicos in Mumbai who has been so assiduous in making sure everyone knows who is an “insider” and an “outsider” have not said a word about illegal Bangaldeshi immigrants in the city”

However, the truth is that the Shiv Sena has been at the forefront of railing against Bangladeshi immigrants in Mumbai for many years. You can google this if you want. In fact, Mumbai/Maharashtra may be the only state that has actually deported Bangladeshi immigrants back.

However, many “NGOs” in the city and the Congress have tried to colour this drive as an “anti-muslim bias”!
And, of course, how do the bangladeshis come into the country? Thanks to the friendly commie govt in Bengal, who have been using illegal immigrants as their “vote banks” for decades.

This is what happens when we are weak on security, because some religious idiot is going to be offended.

    Cheers

  11. The question is : why they find it so easy to kill us anytime they like ? Can we, let’s supposse if we want to, kill people in Pakistan ? No ! of course not ! It is undisputed fact ( and a bitter reality ) that we are within their reach while they are far from our grasp. Why is that…why is it so easy to kill us ?

Well, answer lies in the history:

Muslims had two more advantages in addition to their aggressiveness and superiority in the art of warfare. ‘During this long period of Indian resistance’, observes Dr. Misra, ‘ the infiltration of Arabs, and later on the Turks, continued almost unabated into India, both through armed invasions as well as through peaceful migration from Central Asia. The Hindus, true to their catholicity of religious outlook and rich tradition of tolerance, never obstructed the peaceful immigrants and even zealously granted them security and full religious freedom ‘ The greatest Chishti saint of India, Shaikh Muinuddin Chishti, came to Ajmer just before the battles of Tarain and was able to attract a number of devoted followers ‘ It is all the more remarkable that this Hindu tolerance towards the Muslim merchants and mystics should have continued even after the invasions of Sultan Mahmud of Ghazni’ As Professor Habib points out, ‘ the far-flung campaigns of Sultan Mahmud would have been impossible without an accurate knowledge of trade routes and local resources, which was probably obtained from Muslim merchants’ The same can be said to hold good about the invasions of Muhammad Ghori or Qutbuddin Aibak’ The sufis were working not only as the spies of Islamic imperialism but also as deceivers of gullible Hindu masses…
