Jihad in Jaipur – Update 1

Some fresh updates

“…The blasts took place in Tripolia Bazar where a Hanuman temple drew a large number of devotees today…Manas Chowk, Badi Choupal, Choti Choupal and Johari Bazar. ” link

As many of you must have already realised, Tuesday is a particularly significant day for devotees of Lord Hanuman (and is generally considered auspicious for a variety of reasons). Another important fact: apparently there were 7 bomb blasts and 8 bombs were diffused…In terms of scale at least, 15 coordinated bombs is serious stuff.

The predictable appeal for calm: I wonder if the Honourable PM is going to loose any sleep over this?

Latest Count 60 dead and 150 injured.   HuJI role suspected (more on this in an upcoming post):

“,,,sources said the tell-tale signs of the blasts indicate HuJI’s hand.

The blasts showed that HuJI, which is being mainly run from Bangladesh, has managed to establish cells in Rajasthan and that the outfit was responsible for previous major terror attacks including the New Year eve attack on CRPF camp in Rampur and serial blasts in three other places in Uttar Pradesh.

The last terror strike in Rajasthan occurred on October 11, 2007 when an explosion in the Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer left two persons dead and 17 others injured.

HuJI outfit, suspected to be behind the blast at the sufi shrine, had used a mixture of Tri-Nitro Toluene (TNT) as the explosive material.

…The sources did not rule out the possibility that banned HuJI may have been supported by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) which has been attempting to target tourist destinations and places of economic interests.

A heart-rending first-hand account of how it feels from Shivani in Jaipur (courtesy Bharat-Rakshak):

“…I do not know what to say.  Yes, I am in Jaipur. Today, I actually went to these markets in the afternoon.

I ask members to forgive me, but I am being very honest when I say that all the blasts we have had in other cities have not affected me at all, and I realized this only today. …

Terrorism was something that happened to “other” people. Something very distant.

Now I am afraid to even step out of the house, or allow a family member to do likewise. Imagine going to some shop or mall and being blown apart. Or living handicapped for the rest of your life. Presently, the roads are deserted, sirens have only just stopped screaming, and people are retiring to their homes after talking with neigbours etc.

This changes everything. I do not particularly feel angry towards Indian Muslims, pakis, and their puppeteers in the west. They are doing something that is very natural, and very ‘rational’.

It is the unnaturally passive and thoroughly incompetent Indian approach that offends me the most. I feel strong outrage towards our dysfunctional system of governance…

…I have never felt more disillusioned with New Delhi, the politicians and babus, and the western controlled media. We have never had a revolution in India and it shows.

The entire system system of governance and its operators need to be eliminated and replaced by a new order if we are to make fundamental progress in how we survive and prosper as a nation.

I can’t go to sleep now, just found out someone lost relative. Sorry if anyone is offended, I have never felt the kind of emotion like today before. I am so utterly miserable and helpless…

and another first-hand account of how it feels, from amar_g who lived through the Mumbai blasts:

“…been through the same thing myself a few years ago during the mumbai serial blasts..was attending classes for my 10th std and slowly news started to come in about blasts..my father was in the stock exchange building at that time..it was a horrible feeling till he called up and confirmed everything was ok..

i really do hope and pray the govt dose take some action and we indians do not get used to this “as just one of those things that keep happening” ..like people do in iraq..

…the religion of peace is trying to target our tourist destination..a soft target..scare foreigners away..besides jaipur has got one of the IPL teams..it can only generate more bad press for india as not being a safe destination…

Jai Hind, Jai Bharat. We shall overcome.

With deepest sympathies and condolences for the families of the innocents…Their lives must not go in vain…

Long list of related tragedies:

Root of all these acts in Pakistan: Police

    Hindustan Times, May 14, 2008

“ The roots of all these acts of terror are in Pakistan, whether the incidents in Samba or serial blasts in Jaipur,” DGP Kuldip Khoda told Hindustan Times. The recovery of GPS system, night vision devices and wire cutters are proof of Pakistan’s involvement, he added.

“It has left us in no doubt about the intentions of Pakistan,” said an intelligence official who has worked on Kashmir and Pakistan. “We are in for a more violent phase of terrorism…”

The new Pakistan leadership recently said it would continue to offer political and diplomatic support to Kashmiris in their “ freedom struggle”, signalling a return to the old rhetoric on Kashmir. United Jehad council chief Syed Salaha-ud-Din recently declared that the role of guns would be enhanced to achieve the goal of “freedom for Kashmir”.

    Shantanu,

Many of us have lost sleep over this tragic incident. Those pictures of people trying to revive someone’s lifeless child I saw on TV last night are still haunting me.

But I somewhat disagree with Shivani’s views (and certainly question myself) when she says:

“The entire system of governance and its operators need to be eliminated and replaced by a new order if we are to make fundamental progress in how we survive and prosper as a nation.”

How many places can a country deploy security forces? You try and secure one place, they will erupt elsewhere like cancer…Recently, I visited the Vaishno Devi Shrine and Raghunath Temple of Jammu. The forces/governance are doing a commendable job there to ensure the security of every devotee, but is it feasible to convert every temple, market place into a militarized zone?
As you wrote in your earlier posts too, the way the tentacles of terror are spreading in every nook and corner of our country, I am not sure if replacing the entire system of governance will be helpful to control that spread.. I strongly feel that unless we there mass civil awareness, this cannot be controlled.

The news has shaken me up..while I call up my acquaintances from Jaipur to ask if their near-dear ones are safe… I also question myself..can I as a citizen do something to prevent this? How?

In response to: Terror at centre of Indo-Pak talks after Jaipur blasts

Latest round of serial blasts “undoubtedly” will “figure” in the ensuing Indo Pak talks? Well, it will figure, only in the sense that Mr Nair, foreign secretary, will add a meaninglessly mild statement that the meeting condemned terrorism anywhere in the world and appealed for its being given up in favour of talks!

Is our foeign diplomacy in competent hands at all? Is our Govt., let alone Pakistan govt., competent or equipped to catch serial blast terrorists at all ? Is our national security administration free from corruption, can it do a professional and efficient job so that the ruling powers are kept off right from investigation and detection stage, up to the time time highly deterrent punishmentgiven to the cowards who dare to terrorize and disorganize our society from underground ?

  5. How long we will be ‘mere spectators’?

How long before you or me or our near and dear ones will not be another victim of this unending spiral of terror?

How many more bomb blasts to take place, before we wake up?

How many more innocent lives to be lost, before we get angry?

Yes, get angry now before you too are ‘NOBODY’ but a mere figure in the ever increasing list of innocent victims. Refuse please, to be sacrificed at the altar of some ‘perverse’ and misplaced ’secularism’.

    Very Angry,

Jaipur blasts: NRIs in US call for calm
New York: Support and sympathies have poured in for the victims of the deadly Jaipur terror blasts from the Indian community across the United States.

As they watched pictures of ghastly incidents on their TV sets, Indians were shocked and many who had their loved ones in Jaipur tried frantically to contact them.

Condemning the blasts, in which at least 60 people were killed and 200 injured, Indian National Overseas Congress (INOC) appealed to all communities to maintain communal harmony.

INOC President Dr Surinder Malhotra called it a crime against humanity and urged State and Central law enforcement authorities to bring perpetrators to justice.

Expressing sympathy for the victims, he urged the people to be vigilant against those who might try to take advantage of the situation to damage pluralistic framework of India.
Decrying the blasts in the “harshest terms,” ‘NRIs for Secular and Harmonious India’ called for a thorough probe and appealed to people of all faiths to stay united and defeat the handful of terrorists.

“Our prayers are with the victims and the families of the dead and injured,” said Acharya Kumar Podda and Dr Najma Sultana in a statement.

The community demanded apprehension of the perpetrators and harshest punishment for them.

    1. Look at who are these NRIs, lecturing for calm and maintaining communal harmony. One is infamous INOC President Dr Surinder Malhotra (who filed US$ 100 million lawsuits against a Hindu organization to protect his Italian master’s name and fame in India), the party in India he support removed anti-terror law POTA to faciliatate Jihadi terrorists to kill us. Such self-seeker Hindus (I am afraid if he is a covert christian with Hindu name) and their gangs are worst than Jihadis, they are real terror facilitators. These Jai Chands need to be exposed and isolated.

    2. Why Hindu butchering by the Jihadis is not an Internatinal issue for such NRIs? When Hindus retaliates and kill few Jihadis, then it becomes international issue.

    3. Why not Indian anti-Hindu media lecture to their Secular Brigades to come out openly and condemn Jihadis and asked for stringent punishments and enacting POTA? Why are they silent and where are they hiding?

    4. Its celebration time for secular brigades. Congress-UPA govt and their fellow partners Javed Akhtar, Sabana Azmi, Teesta, Prakash Karat, Yachury are busy celebrating their success in Jaipur. Congratulations to Manmohan Singh and his Italian christian Master for their great success in the last four years (Hindu butchering missions from Jammu to Varanasi to Delhi to Bangaluru to Hyderabad to Kerala to Mumbai to Jaipur to Asom and lists goes on).

    5. Rajasthan Govt and Smt Raje need to learn from Gujarat Govt and Modi to finish off these Jihadi terrorists. They should not depend on terror facilitating anti-national and anti-Hindu Congress govt at centre. Congress is the mother of all terrorism in the country, they use terror groups for their vote-banks and power.

    6. All patriots, nationalists and Hindus must unite and defeat the anti-national terror faciliatating and terror supporting Congress-commie brigades from power and dismantle these organizations. As long as Congress party is there, India can’t prosper and Hindus can never live in secure and peaceful way.

  9. B Shantanu says:

Some excerpts from Jihad in India (first published Nov ’07):

    ***

FP: Who is our enemy in this terror war? What engenders this enemy? Who are the main backers of this enemy?

Muthuswamy: Our enemy is political Islam and a movement based upon it: the political Islamic movement. Political Islam holds that Islam should have a dominant say in governing the affairs of government. There are good reasons for this outlook, going back to Islamic scriptures.

Islamic trilogy, consisting of the Koran, Hadith and Sira, is the basis of political Islam. In the past few years sophisticated scientific analysis of the trilogy has been carried out. The Center for Study of Political Islam has published a series along these lines. Their analysis points to a very dominant political nature of the trilogy – i.e. domination of political deeds of Islam’s founder Mohammed – as opposed to spirituality. …

This strong political component also means that Islam may not be structurally amenable to reform or moderation. If one takes away this political component, there is no Islam.

…We should view political Islam, not radical or militant Islam, as our main enemy.

…We are now further identifying the enemy: a political ideology of conquest that inspires terror, mosques as the nodes that spawn jihad and axis of jihad as the main backer nations of the ideology and the nodes.

FP: Tell us a bit about your problem-solving approach to the war on terror.

Muthuswamy: Because the political Islamic movement is driven by a conquest-oriented medieval ideology and outlook, it behaves like a “germ”. Dialogue or accommodation is simply not possible. Second, this movement is entrenched among Muslim populations and importantly, is networked, with multiple power centers or nodes. This means classical approach of predominantly using diplomacy and/or military force, along with aid is not effective. This may be the reason why our traditional Think Tanks are struggling to come up with a coherent policy response that our political leaders could rely on.

FP: Illuminate for us the ongoing jihad in India.

Muthuswamy: The answer to the question of what will likely happen to Europe and other nations as their resident Muslim populations rise faster than unbelievers becomes apparent by studying the ongoing jihad in India’s vicinity and in India itself.

During the last sixty years, from every Muslim majority area of South Asia – without exception – be it Pakistan, Bangladesh or from India’s own Kashmir valley, non-Muslims have been massively driven out to India. This occurred when the Muslim population there achieved political power through majority status. Also, laws and conditions have been put in place to deliberately marginalize non-Muslims. In almost all of these cases, mosques and the clerics played a major role in facilitating this “conquest”. In India the Muslim population percentage has increased from about 10 percent in 1951 to about 15 percent now. Even within 85 percent non-Muslim India, in some Muslim majority towns this phenomenon is getting repeated. These South Asian populations share language, food habits and culture but differ in religion. Clearly, these Muslim populations are influenced by political Islam.

Written orders were issued by Pakistan’s military high command to kill Hindus in the then East Pakistan in 1971. The largest religion-based genocide of the past fifty years was conducted as a result. Most of these expulsions and genocides occurred before 1972 – well before the large-scale infusion of petrodollars and Wahhabism.

Those who claim that oil money, Muslim “grievance” or “freedom fighting” are responsible for terror should think again. As noted earlier, political Islam’s fundamental emphasis on conquest is traced to the scripture level.

…With about half of worldwide Muslim population in South Asia, this damning conclusion couldn’t be set aside as a deviant. The implications of this analysis for regions and nations with fast-growing and radicalized Muslim populations can’t be understated. A more complete statistics discussed in my book can be useful in articulating and justifying far-reaching policy measures.

At the moment, India’s only Muslim majority state of Kashmir is embroiled in an insurgency. Material and other forms of support for this insurgency come not just from Pakistan but also from many Middle Eastern nations, including Saudi Arabia. While these Muslim nations find it convenient to support “freedom fighting” of Muslims, they choose to neglect non-Muslim ethnic cleansing from every Muslim majority area of South Asia. For instance, Pakistan-controlled part of Kashmir is virtually devoid of non-Muslims. This fits in with the idea of extending Islam’s frontiers at the expense of unbelievers.

Terror is just one avenue for conquering the land belonging to infidels. When Muslims are a minority different ways must be found. Special reservations for Muslims in jobs and educational institutions were demanded and extracted by intimidating ruling regimes in India. In the long run, these unfair reservations empowers Muslims at the expense of people belonging to other faiths, setting the stage for further annihilation of non-Muslim faiths in India.

Powerful clerics and Muslim community leaders “cautioned” the Indian government of violent attacks by “angry” Muslims if the reservation demands were not met. After all, Muslim masses have been told in mosques that their relative lack of representation in positions requiring education is no fault of their own; only government and the Hindu majority are to be blamed. This flawed perception of Muslim grievance has taken years to achieve and is part of the jihad buildup funded by several Middle East nations and Pakistan whose passion is unbeliever conquest.

…With its power so narrowly concentrated (Muslim masses are otherwise disorganized outside of mosques), mosques are also political Islam’s greatest weak link.

Political Islam’s contemporary record of unbeliever genocide, backed by scriptures, has no parallels with any other faith.

Hence, as part of preemption, non-Muslim majority nations are well-within their rights to categorize any mosque or any Muslim religious institution that stocks or distributes material derived from Islamic trilogy as an enemy entity – and shut them down if needed.

Even if a mosque appears outwardly moderate in a Western nation, by preaching trilogy dominated by political Islam, it is still stealthily building up jihad in local Muslim community! Of course, mosques in Muslim majority nations are overt about advancing jihad.

FP: How does India serve as a counterforce to jihad? What is the best policy the U.S. and the West should apply vis-à-vis India in this context?

Muthuswamy: In terms of population, location and size, India matches the extended global network of Muslim populations that are influenced by political Islam. When a non-white, non-Christian developing nation such as India claims to have been victimized at the hands of Islamic nations and movements, it is bound to create ideological difficulties for Islamists who have made Muslim grievance the bedrock upon which to build the jihad castle.

If America could help deliver a fatal blow to the former Soviet Union by backing Muslim nations against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, why not back cornered Indians to fight political Islam and its sponsoring nations? Unlike a resurgent political Islamic movement, which has turned its guns on its former benefactor America, a resurgent India already sharing secular and democratic mode of governing is no threat to the Western civilization.

An integral part of this project can be neutralizing the influence of Deoband Islamic seminary in India. This seminary is the major force behind political Islamic movement and jihad in entire South Asia and Afghanistan. An India working to successfully neutralize political Islam within can do more. Sharing language and culture with Pakistan and Bangladesh, such an India could help to liberate these nations to alternate faiths or way of life. While these ideas may look far-fetched now, policy decisions should be geared toward rapidly building up India in order to create a new future.

More so than any Western nation or even Israel, there is an important way a jihad victim state such as India can help deliver decisive near-term blows to political Islamic movements in some axis of jihad nations.

Using Muslim majority Kashmir as a jihad base extensive network of terror cells have been established in Muslim communities all throughout India. It is a matter of time India is hit in a major way, thanks to jihad buildup in India sponsored mainly by Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Strikes on India’s nuclear reactors, oil refineries or call-center infrastructure, for instance, is bound to make devastating economic impact and make hundrends of milions more of its children go hungry, and destitute and set the stage for India’s ireversible destruction and eventual Islamization. Under international law every state, including India, has the right to strike back preemptively and devastatingly when faced with a blatant and long-pattern of genocide by an enemy. …

    What would the HuJI do?

They would train children for jehad. Those interested would be trained in schools and madrasas. Later, Mufti Abdullah Hannan, a big leader of HuJI, went his own way, he would organize the blasts and terrorism.”

Excerpts from “Oh stupid leaders, it’s a war, fight it” by G. Anil Kumar

“…Jaipur, the beautiful city, best known as pink city, has become red. 70 people were killed on last Tuesday night by the serial blasts.

BOLD But for our “secular” leaders, these are just a few more attacks. “We will not get perturbed” they declared. And with that, their responsibility ends.

Unfortunately, Indian “secular leaders” regard and treat each end every terrorist attack as a separate, isolated incident. So, they don’t get perturbed.

Whether it is in Jaipur, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Varanasi, Malegao, Ahmadabad, Coimbatore, Jammu, Kashmir Valley or any other town, jihadi terrorism is intended, aided, abetted, designed, coordinated and well orchestrated by Pakistan. Bangladesh is cooperating with Pak’s intelligence wing, ISI. …

In fact, it’s a declared war against India.

This is a war, in which we are not participating. Whether you recognize it as a war or not, whether you participate in it to win or not, a war is a war is a war is a war.

India has lost most number of its citizens to jihadi and left terror than all the victims of other countries put together.

War by terror is visible everywhere. But there is no “war on terror” in India. Now, you do not need any more tangible evidence to believe that India is soft on terror. It is as clear as a bright sun on the sky.

India is the only country in the whole world which “tolerates” terrorism with “superb restraint”. This is not a quality, but a weakness.

With these” leaders” around, Jaipur is bound to recur. Cry, my countrymen, cry.

Every region and state of Bharat need to wake up, and start urgent work on detection, identification and deportation of illegal Bangladeshi muslims in a coordinated manner. Otherwise, these illegal Jihadis will just enter another state and acquire ration cards and names in voters list, where such illegals serve vote-banks for anti-national Pseudo-Secular parties.

    =====
    llegal migrants fleeing Rajasthan
    Lokpal Sethi | Jaipur

Following the State Government’s decision to launch a drive for identifying and deporting illegal Bangladeshi migrants within 30 days, a large number of them have been fleeing Rajasthan for the past three days.

East and North-East bound trains from Jaipur and other major cities, including Jodhpur-Howrah, Jodhpur-Guwahati, Jaipur-Sealdalh and Udaipur-Sealdah, are crowded with such Bangladeshis. Eager to get out of the State, many of them board the trains even without tickets. According to a rough estimate, nearly 3,000 Bangladeshis are leaving every day by trains.

The State police, GRP and intelligence agencies are keeping a close vigil on the fleeing Bangladeshis and the railway staff has been directed to check each passenger. Placement agents, who had illegally arranged jobs for them in Rajasthan, are helping them leave cities like Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Udaipur and Jodhpur, where the number of such migrants is sizeable.

About three years back, the Jaipur police had prepared a record of Bangladeshis and shifted some of them to the Bagrana transit camp on the Jaipur-Agra road. After that, police forgot to update the record. Many of the families which were shifted to this camp later moved to other areas without the knowledge of police.

Meanwhile, police, which are yet to reach the perpetrators of the May 13 serial blasts in Jaipur, have announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for information about these people. As police collect more information about the terrorists, they are taking help of experts from Gujarat to prepare again the sketches of suspects. So far, the sketches of seven of the 10 suspects — who bought bicycles the same day and parked them in the crowded Walled City after strapping them with explosives — have been released.

Believing that other than HuJI, banned SIMI might have been involved in the serial blasts, police have arrested four SIMI activists. Among them is Mohammad Sajid, a 40-year-old who runs a madrasa at Gangapur city in Sawai Madhopur. His association with SIMI goes back many years and he was arrested in Jaipur for creating communal tension in the wake of the Babri Masjid demolition in 1993. He was also arrested by Gujarat police in 2001 for similar reasons and had to spend 11 months in a Surat jail.

Meanwhile, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) would visit Delhi in connection with the interrogation of a hawala agent, Naim. Naim, who was arrested in Azamgarh by the UP Police, has reportedly confessed that he had received Rs 9 lakh from Bangladesh for carrying out blasts in Jaipur.

Bangladeshis are a threat to security

The serial bombings in Jaipur have had the salutary effect of forcing the Rajasthan Government to take a long, hard look at the festering problem posed by the surge of illegal immigrants from Bangladesh who have made their way to this State. Initial investigations into last Tuesday’s outrage indicate that some of these Bangladeshis were involved in planning and carrying out the bombings. What has also surfaced is evidence of Harkat-ul-jihad-al-Islami, a terrorist organisation based in Bangladesh and with links to Pakistan’s ISI, plotting the massacre to further its perverse cause. It does not require ‘actionable intelligence’ to figure out that many of the illegal immigrants from Bangladesh are HuJI operatives and their presence in India is a serious threat to our internal security. The slums inhabited by Bangladeshi immigrants, like those which have sprouted around Jaipur and other cities across India, provide a perfect cover for sleeper cells of HuJI and other Islamic terrorist organisations. What makes detection difficult is the political patronage provided by our ’secular’ parties, especially the Congress and the CPI(M), to Bangladeshis by way of getting their names included in voters’ lists and securing identity papers, including ration cards, for them. Seen against this backdrop of crass vote-bank politics, the BJP Government in Rajasthan deserves to be applauded for deciding to launch a drive to detect and deport Bangladeshis living in the State. For starters, the State Government has asked district collectors to prepare detailed reports on Bangladeshi immigrants within 30 days. They have also been directed to retrieve the ration cards of those Bangladeshis who have managed to secure them and cancel their names from voters’ lists. This is by no means an easy task: In Jaipur alone the number of Bangladeshis is now believed to be 10,000, a four-fold increase from 2,500 in 2004.

Predictably, the Congress and the CPI(M) — apart from assorted ‘human rights’ and ‘civil society’ activists whose hearts bleed for terrorists — have raised a din over the State Government’s move. This despite the fact that Bangladeshis who have illegally entered and settled in West Bengal, ruled by the CPI(M), and Assam, where the Congress is in power, are involved in organised crime, apart from promoting Islamic fanaticism. But such protests by our ’secularists’ should not deter the Rajasthan Government — it would be doing signal service to the nation by initiating the long over due process of detecting and deporting Bangladeshis. A recent report prepared by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs, in which all parties are represented, categorically states that the “large presence of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants poses a grave threat to (India’s) internal security and it should be viewed strongly”. The report provides details of how these illegal immigrants have been able to secure ration cards, driving licences, voter identity cards and even PAN cards. There is no reason why India should open its doors to malcontents from its neighbouring countries; we cannot be expected to become the dumping ground of the unwanted of Bangladesh. What adds a certain urgency to detect and deport Bangladeshis is their increasing role in fomenting terrorism in India by offering to play the role of jihad’s foot soldiers. They must be thrown out. Now.

Bharat: Thanks for the links…I am not sure that this gets to the root of the problem…

The migrants leaving on the train will most likely disperse in various parts of North East or even en-route (UP, Bihar, W Bengal).

What we need is coordinated action supported (and driven) by the central government…that however is unlikely to happen anytime soon…I would love to be proven wrong on this – but I am not hopeful.

As a senior citizen I feel saddened by the frightening reality of Jihadi terrorism and Indian Mujahideen, and the apparent inability and unwillingness of the part of Bharat sarkar to face this challenge and protect its citizens.

It is totally shameful for any government worth the salt to be told by a group that calls itself Indian Mujahideen proudly accepting the responsibility for the carnage committed last week in Jaipur city
bazaar. This and other groups do know very well that we have a useless spineless government and bureaucracy ably aided by lethargic judicial system
that can do nothing but blaming each other or find scapegoats or punishing some second-rung plotters.

It is a shame that we live in a country with great traditions of dharma and yet allowing innocent citizens getting killed on a daily basis in a war that nobody is fighting.

As if this is not enough, our own Chennai rulers are determined to make the city increasingly unliveable not only in public safety and security, but also allowing the environment and neighbourhoods to rot
with uncollected garbage and filth. Until a year ago, there was one Singapore-based firm called Oxynz was doing quite a good job to keep the streets clean and free of garbage. Now, the unholy alliance
between corrupt polito-babus and inept local governance have managed to put the filth and garbage back on the streets, and further, allowing all kinds
of gimmicks to make the normal movement of urban transport system a nightmare experience every time one has to step out to do some work.

May I and people like me appeal to your kind consideration to bring out a good analytical write up on these sad state of affairs, asap.

Hope it will call attention of some good soul in the local Mafia called Municipal Corporation of Chennai.
