Varanasi – Top 10 reasons for not getting upset…

I am reproducing below a stinging post on “Bharat-rakshak” by Bibhasdas following the blasts in Varanasi. Whowever you are and wherever you may be, I share your pain…

As Times of India Ad says – “Another Day in the Life of India” Getting angry at this point would be Politically incorrect. Please see the top 10 reasons for not getting upset.

  1. These are regular incidences now-a-days which happens almost at few months interval (Ayodha, Akshardham come to mind)
  2. No “minority” commuity members are hurt in this incidence.
  3. State Govt has already fulfiled its duties (Mulayam announced 5lacs per dead, may be few thousand per wounded)
  4. Central Govt has done its duty (It has sent His excellancy Home minister to review the situation and file report, preferably in A4 size format)
  5. Rastrapati has done his duty, he condemed the incidence.
  6. Opposition has already done its duty (BJP called for UP Bandh plus it has said that UPA govt has failed)
  7. Police has done its duty, it has cordonned off the whole area after the blast.
  8. Media has fulfilled its duty, it has asked everybody to stay calm repeatedly.
  9. News channel discussion forums have already fulfilled its duty discussion our favourite “External Hand Theory”
  10. Bharat-Rakshak has done its duty by allowing a new thread (which will eventually get a few “not-so-secular” people banned)

PS: The final duty will be fulfilled by an enquiry comission which will eventually discover that this was nothing but an accident.

Soon there will be SMS poll organized by TV channels : Vote for your favourite temple to be the next target A for X B for Y and C for Z Why exactly we have a thread on this. This is regular news yaar…

  • Islam & Muslim is not same and probably not related. Given current circumstances, it is okay to blame Islam to some extent. However Muslims are peaceful.
  • Terrorist wants us to get angry & upset, hence other communities should not play the same game and keep quite even at the highest provocation. Despite this well placed warning if anyone is angry or imotional he/she must be affiliated to a certain political wing, has vested political interest and has no clue how to strategically fight terrorism.
  • The majority of Muslims living in India are more innocent than Muslims available in rest of the world. Unlike Muslims elsewhere, Indian Muslims loves to be in harmony, forward looking and has great respect for other religion (Except for few misguided souls).
  • Poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, Hindu militancy, George Bush, Cartoon, Iraq, Iran, Palestine, Israel etc are the main reason for Muslims joining terrorism.

I will keep on counting the comments. For the sake of bandwidth I have omitted those comments which generally found in fifth standard history geography books like all religions are equal or every religion teaches good things etc.
