Lead us from Untruth towards Truth
Tamaso ma jyotirgamaya
Lead us from Darkness into light
Mrityor ma amritam gamaya
Lead us from Death to Eternal Life
Sarve pi sukhinah santu
May all be happy
Sarve santu niramaya
May all be free of disease
Sarve bhadrani pashyantu
May we perceive only that which is good and uplifting
Ma kaschit dukha bhadbhavet
May none be unhappy or distressed
Dhyau shantihi
May the heavens be peaceful
Antariksha shantihi
May the cosmos be peaceful
Prithvi shantihi
May the Earth be peaceful
Aapa shantihi
May the waters be peaceful
Aushadhayah shantihi
May the herbs be peaceful
Vanaspataya shantihi
May the plants and trees be peaceful
Vishwedevaha shantihi
May the Gods of the Universe be peaceful
Kama shantihi
May our desires be at peace
Krodha shantihi
May our anger be at peace
Bramha shantihi
May Bramha be at peace
Sarva shantihi
May everything be at peace
Shantireva shantihi
May there be only peace everywhere
Sama shantire dhi
May we together meditate in that peace
Yato yatah samihase tato nah abhayam kuru
May we be free from fear everywhere
Shan nah kuru prajabhyo ‘ bhayam na pashubhyaha
May the people and the animals be protected by You and may they be free of fear
