This weekend, do something different..

This Independence Day weekend, do something different.. Narrate the story of at least one of our National Heroes to a young child in your family.

Better still, gift them this book: “Saluting Our Heroes: The Param Virs of Bharat– and ask them to tell you one of its stories!

Have a restful, safe weekend – wherever you are.. and please spare a thought for the ones who gave their lives, and the ones who constantly put it at risk on our borders – day in, day out..Independence Day or not. I will be offline for most of this weekend, so here is wishing all of you…

स्वतंत्रता दिवस की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं !

Happy Indpendence Day!

Jai Hind, Jai Bharat!

It is a disgrace that the BBC this weekend has chosen to re amplify Sonia Edvige’s profile. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/from_our_own_correspondent/9562806.stm
What precisely were her qualifications to become the ‘leader’ that holds the Congress together? That she was the daughter -in -law of Indira ‘Gandhi’? It is written nowhere that succession is hereditory, and yet the blind in the AICC will work towards this. The Congress Party’s original principle of swadeshi is in complete opposition to what it now represents and what it has become. The current champion of swadeshi is in fact the target of a witch hunt by Congress/UPA.
The irony of an ‘Italian’ being the head of Congress, and most powerful in India is beyond description.
Shame on Mark Tully for such a useless article.
    God bless Mahamatma ji.
