New Thread: Attack on Sri Lankan cricket team in Pakistan

Just pasting some URLs in the middle of a very busy day….

BBC:

Gunmen have attacked a bus carrying the Sri Lankan cricket team on its way to play in the Pakistani city of Lahore.

At least five Pakistani policemen escorting the team bus were killed, while seven cricketers, and their assistant coach, were injured.

Pakistani officials said about 12 gunmen were involved and grenades and rocket launchers have been recovered.

Officials said the incident bore similarities to deadly attacks in Mumbai in India last November.

@ Shantanu

THE ATTACK ON SRILANKAN CRICKET TEAM IN PAKISTAN.

Firstly I would like to condemn the attack on SRILANKAN TEAM… If you look at the modus of operandi it was almost like Mumbais attack on 26th Nov. i.e. indiscriminate firing with AK56.

JUST A CONSPIRACY THEORY BY MYSELF

IS IT A INTELLIGENCE WAR???

I would like to raise this questions are INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES OF BOTH THE COUNTRIES INVOLVED IN THESE ATTACKS?..

i.e. If ISI has hands in 26 nov mumbai attack then what are the chances of RAW with the help of LTTE (which are at the brink of extintion) might gave planned the attack on SRI LANKAN TEAM. The RAW might have owed to the govt pressure to produce some results to get pakistan to its knees w.r.t mumbai attacks. and also helping LTTE which has been Raws long unofficial associate to attack a SRI LANKAN target…

Hmmm… I also think that the marriot bombing in pakistan was also the work of RAW, so are the other terrorist activities in Pakistan . And yes The peace deal with the taliban was brokered by the RAW with the help of RSS. The problem of Terrorism in other parts of the world are surely a handwork of the RAW. I guess RAW has to be declared a terrorist organization and we should bring in Taliban or the LeT in place of RAW.

This is not to say that the RAW are innocent babes in the wood. They have been credited with causing as much harm to our nation as the CIA did to America, what with their arming the Bodos, training the LTTE and so on. But I have a feeling that Pakistan has already attained critical mass and does not need any help from outside to commit suicide.

There is also a brotherhood between all terrorist (call them freedom fighters if you want to) organizations in the world which brushes aside ideologies. People from all nations covering a wide spectrum of ideologies from trained together in Libya. Did Carlos have any affiliations other than the worship of terror? Did the communist Bulgarians have any problem helping Mehmat Ali Agca? The IRA, Al Fatah, Red Army, Hezbollah, all have trained together and collaborated.

It is only in insurgencies (where the organizations’ internecine strife is fuelled by thoughts of power-sharing after the struggle) that you do not see this spirit of co-operation. The other Tamil outfits were competitors to the LTTE, so they decimated them. Not so the Pakistani terrorists. So there is a possibility that the LTTE and one of the many groups in Pakistan could have collaborated. I would not blame them. Need makes strange bedfellows. Champakaraman Pillai using the German ship Emden to bombard Madras in 1914, Netaji allying with the Nazis and the Japanese (you suppose he would not have known their human rights record?), the ULFA taking help from Islamic sources, they all arise from a burning need to achieve the goal. Unfortunately, this Arjuna-like focus on the goal also causes acute damage to peripheral vision. So the freedom fighters finance their needs for arms by the drug trade, well aware of the costs their own people pay in terms of addiction and AIDS. The human race has a propensity to shoot itself in the foot. It is only a matter for academic discussion whether we will kill ourselves off by violence or by environmental degradation.

    I feel sorry for Pakistan.
The nation was created for multiple goals by the British. One of the goals was to use Pakistan as a frontman in it’s attacks on USSR and India to use resources offered by these countries as well as break them up.
Today Pakistan as a nation does not exist. It is basically a puppet of Britain and her daughter countries. Kashmir and Punjab were problems created by Britain using Pakistan as a proxy….

Look at the big picture. Both Afganistan and Pakistan were part of Bharat. They are still under colonial control and totally destoyed. The countries are dry and decimated. Afganistan is full of depleted uranium. They have suffered for betraying bharat

This Anglo combine is the worst group the world has seen. Because history is written by the victors, we don’t read about the evils of this regime. They are worse than Nazis. They have destroyed people, civilizations and now the planet for their greed and ego. We don’t read about the genocide, torture and rapes by the british in India.
Pakistan is just a facet of this anglo regime. What worries me is that as Pakistan goes down the tubes, they will become more vicious towards India. We have to be careful

Why?? I don’t recall using bad language. Is it because of blog restrictions etc.
