Major changes in the offing…

Dear Friends,

Over the next 4 days (right through the weekend), I will be moving my blog and contents to a hosted-server. What this means is I will have more control over the appearance and features on my blog.  I am doing this for a number of reasons – some minor and some more important. I will be sharing all this information with you over the coming weeks.

In the meantime, expect some glitches in service (and possibly broken links) over the next 2-3 days (I am hoping to keep disruption to a minimum).

Fingers crossed but the transition appears to have gone through smoothly. Hopefully none of you experienced any major/serious issues…

If you did, pl. let me know and do email me if you notice any problems with the site; alternatively, please leave a comment.

    Dear Shantanuji,
    Changes are always welcome. They prevent stagnation & inertness. Change also is way of rededicating to the spirit of quest and refocussing on the set objectives. Change triggers extra enthusiasm and strengthens the purpose. Over and above all, change is the celebration of life.

    Hi,

    Some small glitches that I am seeing are –
    1. Devanagari fonts not displayed (????)
    2. Recent Comments not aligned properly on the page. Showing down below.
    3. The Front Page has a picture of a cute little puppy’s back 🙂
    4. Line spacing is huge.

    The new look is great, especially I like the picture in header. I hate complaining 😉 but, is there any way to move the icici ad which blocks couple of words in articles.

    Pragya: Thanks for pointing out the glitches..Issues #1 and #4 still remain…

    I am an amateur when it comes to doing all this…so I am struggling here a little bit…If you (or anyone else reading this) can help me with ironing our a few glitches (including the ones mentioned by Vinay below), I would be most grateful…

    Great presentation. Since I have not encountered any glitiches I am keeping quiet. I am an Indian! I will start complaining only when the RAILWAY TRACK RUNS ON MY BACK!

    Some of you may have noticed continuing tweaks and changes in the presentation of the web-site.

    As you may have guessed, I am still “playing around” with various designs and hope to finally settle on a final theme by this weekend…
