Dear Shantanu,
I can’t under understand. Are you supporting corruption or opposing? I would appreciate, if you could help us on opposing the corruption and write on how to control it. It is impacting law & order, judiciary and development in India. As for as I know, I can tell you that there is no impact of corruption on common man in US.
Thanks,
Vinaya

Vinaya,
I am sure by now you know my stance on corruption (pl. also see the related posts) – but in particular, see my comemnt (#27) to this post:
https://satyameva-jayate.org/2007/04/13/bpd-bm-lp-light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel/
As I have written in the comment, this is a complex issue and it is probably not a good idea to look at it in isolation…It is linked with politics, governance, economic development, incentives, law and order etc.
A thoughtful post on this is long overdue…but I will get to it eventually…In the meantime, if you have a few practical ideas (say three or four), I am more than happy to share them on this bkog with others.
Dear Shantanu,
This post seems to me a justification to corruption in India by giving example of other countries. This makes us feel happy but such kind of posts confuses the general public of India and they start thinking that it is OK to be corrupt since others are also practicing. Please visualize, if there is no corruption in India.
Thanks & Regards,
Vinaya

Dear Readers,
We are looking for people and need them to support us on our mission to “Bhrastachar Mitao, Bharat Bachao”. Just, we need you to watch for the people involved in corruption and try to bring them to law. Also, you may want to spread this word to our fellow Indians to check the corruption and find ways to punish them with help of authorities.
If anyone unearths any kind of corruption anywhere in UP and bring the corrupted person to the law, the Society will reward and felicitate him/her. With that, the name of person who unearths the corruption will published at the Society’s site in golden words providing also the details of corruption case and other. The rewarded amount will vary based on the size of corruption. The reward and certificate will be mailed, if awardees couldn’t be able to attend the function solely organized for their felicitation.

Thanks & Regards,
Vinaya
