“Opposing Hindutva” – one of most constructive things people can do for India
Some of you may have heard of the UK-based organisation called AWAAZ.
Its front page says that: “AWAAZ – SOUTH ASIA WATCH is a UK-based secular network of individuals and organisations committed to monitoring and combating religious hatred in South Asia and in the UK.”
and the FAQ section http://www.awaazsaw.org/awaaz_faq.htm mentions (emphasis mine):
WHAT IS AWAAZ – SOUTH ASIA WATCH?
Awaaz – South Asia Watch is a UK-based network of South Asian organizations and individuals. It was established in 2002 following the carnage in Gujarat. Awaaz members have signed up to a common platform of secularism, democracy, human rights and tolerance, and will challenge religious hatred and intolerance whichever community it comes from. Awaaz – South Asia Watch is also a limited company. Awaaz is not a charity, though individual members are involved in various charitable and humanitarian projects.
However, keep scrolling all the way to the bottom of the screen and you come across this “question” which sort of lets the cat out of the bag (emphasis mine):
WHY DON’T YOU PUT YOUR TIME AND ENERGIES INTO CONSTRUCTIVE WORK?
Opposing Hindutva is one of the most constructive things people can do for an India that is tolerant, humane, just and democratic.
I am dumbstruck… Do people really understand what “Hindutva” means?

P.S. I am thinking of emailing Awaaz to suggest that they might also want to add Islamism and “Christian Fundamentalism” to the things that they are opposing.

…Islamism, Islamic Terrorism , Islamist Jehad , Muslim Militancy are biggest dangers to civilised world in general and India in particular.
…Aeroplanes are hijacked , Temples are attacked , Buses are burnt , Trains are torched , Innocents are massacred in mass riots , serial bombs in Mumbai / Delhi , Attack on Law enforcement agencies and Attack on Indian Parliament by Muslim Terrorists shows that Ultimate Jehad has started to Islamize Complete India into a Sharia ruled Talibaan Type Muslim Nation.
This is high time , All true and patriotic Indians should forgot the differences of caste , creed , language , state ,etc and unite to form a common front against Islamist Threat.
Opposing Islamic Jehad or Islamist Terror…is the one and only contructive duty done by every true Indian.
Wake up India , Time is running out.
