FAIR USE
Many of the reports and articles on this site contain copyrighted material whose use may not have been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. I am making this material available to readers in an effort to advance the understanding of different issues related to this site. I believe this constitutes a ‘fair use’ of the copyrighted material as provided for in Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107 of the US Copyright Law.
If you wish to use such copyrighted material for purposes of your own that go beyond ‘fair use’ you must obtain permission from the copyright owner.
.
ATTRIBUTION
I am usually scrupulous about correctly attributing quotes, reports and articles to the original author and publication.
My style of using direct quotes or verbatim excerpts is to include them in “Italics” (usually with quotation marks to indicate that they are not my words).
Occasionally, I may slip on this and either attribute incorrectly or forget it completely.
However, this would never be intentional. If you ever come across something on my blog which has been improperly attributed (or worse, not attributed at all), I shall be grateful for alerting me so that the mistake can be rectified.
The aim of this site is not self-aggrandisement. Accurate attribution and referencing enhances credibility and respects other writers’ thoughts. I would never want to violate that.
Finally, the domains satyameva-jayate.org and satyameva-jayate.com are owned by me and any inappropriate use of either of them may be liable to legal action.
Thank You.

*** COMMENT MODERATION POLICY ***
.
Dear Readers,
After more than three years of running this blog without comment moderation, I have come around to finally putting a moderation policy in place.
Part of the reason is the increasing “troll-like” activity I have seen here.
Another major reason is the increasing number of comments that are off-topic or with no susbstance.
As loyal readers of my blog will know, I strive hard to maintain a high standard of discussion and debate on this blog (in content as well as style) and I hope I am able to sustain that.
I respect my readers time and effort in visiting this blog and would not wish to waste their effort by letting half-baked comments come in the way of an intelligent discussion.
Henceforth ALL comments on this blog will be moderated by me.
This will entail some delay but I expect most comments to appear within few hours - or at most within 24 hours.
If your comment does not appear immediately - as it used to - please bear with me and pl. visit the site after a few hours; Hopefully your comment should be “visible” by then.
Moderation also entails editorial responsibility which I do not take lightly.
But to spell a few things out:
I reserve the right to delete, edit or modify any comment submitted to this site without prior notification and/or explanation.
If you do not agree with this, please do not submit your comment. Conversely, by submitting a comment, you agree to bound by the comment policy stated herein and implicitly grant me editorial control.
.
Please also note:
Comments, views, opinions and links submitted by readers or subscribers reflect their individual views and neither I nor the publisher shall be held accountable or liable for them in any way, now or in future.
Publishing of the comment (or links) on this site does not necessarily mean that I approve, support, endorse or encourage the opinions, thoughts or feelings (or any other content) expressed therein. It should not be assumed that I agree with or otherwise endorse any particular comment or comments just because I let them remain on the site.
Please remember, sometimes “silence is golden”. Pl avoid giving out personal information. Avoid rants, diatribes and “boiler-plate” responses.
.
Final important points:
Please stick to civil language; please refrain from personal insults; please avoid dismissive arguments; and of course, no abuse or vulgarity allowed…
Thanks for your patience and support.
Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.
