On the road, once again…

Dear All: I am travelling once again from today for the next several days in Odisha and Madhya Pradesh. I am especially looking forward to the visit to Odisha – after nearly two decades! I have very fond memories of the state and my time there and I am looking forward and excited to see the changes since then. I hope to have several meetings in both these states on politics, governance and reforms.

In particular, I am really looking forward to the opportunity to speak with members of the Orissa Bar Association at Cuttack on “Is another Law (LokPal) really the best way to combat corruption?”, this coming Sunday (thanks to my friend Srikumar who helped organise this)..as also a talk in Indore next week on “India’s Global Image”. More on these talks and other interactions in the days to come.

During this time pl. expect some delay in moderating and responding to comments on the blog.  On this visit, I intend to rely more on twitter..and quite a bit on facebook updates…I will be posting occasional posts here – but mostly excerpts from various articles…Hope to compile notes from the visit once I am back…In the meantime, stay tuned, have a look at the “Archives”  containing almost 1300 posts on a range of topics and do participate in the discussions.. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat!
