Visvesvaraya, Mulberry Bush and Acharya JC Bose

Micro-post of the week, in which I wonder why the “Popular Book Shop”, located inside the Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum had a loud “Mulberry Bush” nursery rhyme playing in the background, “..This is the way we go to Church, go to Church, go to Church…”.

And find it odd (and saddening) that Acharya  J C Bose barely finds a small mention…(not to forget Sir C V Raman).  No photograph of Wing Cmdr Rakesh Sharma either. And no trace or mention of our own achievements in Science and Technology from ancient times…This is how an entire generation forgets history..

Thankfully, there is a good section on Chandrayaan and the space programme.

This is really sad. That there is rhyme singing Christian song, while these very Christians (vested interest) blame the BJP Government when it decided to introduce Bhagavad Gita on a voluntary basis, that too after school hours. What happened to INDIA’S SECULAR OUTLOOK?

As far as ancient Hindu shastra’s is concerned, the knowledge propounded by our sages and seers in BharataVarsha can never be matched. Here are links to few articles which shows how superior they were, without the aide of any scientific tools.

    Excerpts from the above link.

“If we turn to the atomic structure, we get this fact in nucleus (proton and neutron). Positive charge creates such atmosphere in which electrons in different orbits move around the nucleus.

Break the matter (solid, liquid or gases) you get fundamental particles electron, proton and neutron. Just as Tridha-Sakti-Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva or Mahesh. Matter, energy and space are three parts of this universe, like Sat, Cit and Ananda are the three parts of the supreme Brahman.

Electron a tiny wave like mass is very powerful for creation. It works with negative charge. With the help of proton it moves and moves around the nucleus as Brahma sitting on the Nabhi Kamala (naval lotus) of the Lord Vishnu.

Proton is positively charged particle. Only positively charged proton is enough to move electron like omni presence of Vishnu is enough for creation of this universe to Bhrama.

A neutron is the Shiva, the annihilator of the worlds-the God of Samahara. Just like neutron it plays important role is nuclear fission or fusion.

The Radio-active energy released by Neutron is opening of the third eye of the Lord Shiva”.

And one final link that smashes the idiotic claims of Shiva Linga being the phallus and such nonsense.

Sorry to be sending in so many links that may be understood as religious but that’s not the case. Our “SAGES WERE SCIENTISTS BEYOND EXCELLENCE.” How can one otherwise explain the accuracy of PANCHAGAM, like giving the date and time of an eclipse years in advance.

Without sounding like a ‘fundamentalist’, it seems to me that the current GOI is not only more non-Hindu than it has ever been, but is actually anti-Hindu. That is, it is against a possible 80% of thE population, and this will inevitably radicalise more of that 80%. The word ‘secular’ should be taken out of the Constitution. It is being misused by the ‘minorities’ in a variety of ways.
There seems to be a concerted effort to ‘drug’ the younger generation with cricket and Bollywood, and other distractions. This dilutes the glue that is still holding the society together.
Interestingly I have seen little of the questions being asked of the media in India, as we have had here in the UK of News Corp( except the RADA tapes). And of course News Corp/International has a big stake in the media in India.

    Reminds me of…

Dr Rajiv Dixit in one lecture of his mentioned something similar – what he said was that its the British who started this dilution of our culture. He gave an example, Bharat’s folk songs try to please rain gods, and rain… but Britishers considered themselves superior and also as a plan to dilute our culture the changes done in our education introduced, for example, poems like ‘rain rain go away little jonny has to play’.

Another example he gave then was that the sums in maths are now of this type ‘if man kills 2 of 5 birds, then how many birds on the branch’, whereas the same thing can be taught by also mentioning things that we value in our culture (instead of mentioning violence), for example ‘if a man give 2 itesm in Daan of the 5 things he has, then how many things will he have’

And this intentional corruption of our culture is going on – particularly by those in power – first it was Britishers, and now its British Raj 2.0 (as Ramdev calls them Kaale Angrej).

Actually its in the interest of corrupts and multi-nationals that people should be Bhogvaadi. The numb and consuming the people remain the more these corrupt can easily maintain power, and multi-national’s (or corrupt corporates) will be able to suck the money with them, to make themselves rich.
