…it feels good to be loved!

I got an email yesterday from “Indian Top Blogs” that  || Satyameva Jayate || is now ranked amongst the Top 14 blogs in India (according to their ranking) in the category of “Platinum” blogs.  The list of 14 “Platinum” blogs include only four that can be loosely categorised as dealing with socio-political issues (Acorn, DCubed, Sepia Mutiny and yours truly). I wish there were more in this list.

This post is a BIG Thank You to ALL of you for being part of this journey that started in July 2004 – and for your support and encouragement along the way. As I wrote more than a year ago,

Thanks to everyone who stumbled on this blog, or were referred to by a friend or discovered it accidentally – or were told by me to read it! You have made this journey worthwhile.

And a special thanks to everyone who has ever left a comment…who enriched the content and made it far more readable and enjoyable…I am truly grateful.

Please continue writing in and do spread the word.  If each one of you decides to tell one new person about this site every week, we’ll have 50 new readers within a year. If just 200 off you decide to do this, we’ll have 10,000 new readers by Jun ’12!

A BIG Thank You, धन्यवाद, ধন্যবাদ, ધન્યવાદ, ਮੇਹੇਰਬਾਨੀ, ಧನ್ಯವಾದಳು, நன்றி!… Sorry, this is a poor and incomplete attempt but I hope you get the general idea :-).  Jai Hind, Jai Bharat!

    Felicitations !

Balancing enthusiasm between gravity and gravitas is not an easy job. At one end you may be pulled down by naivete; at the other end you are pulled up by mission focus.

You are doing a fine job of holding yourself aloft on a cushion of ingested wisdom….

  4. Anjali says:

Congratulations!! Your focus on this mission has made all the difference and am sure everyone who reads this blog can see your commitment through every post. Many best wishes for more such successes!

@ JKV: Re. Kannada, thanks for pointing out..my only excuse is that I do not speak the language (had relied on the internet for translations; clearly some were wrong!)

That’s great news man. I’ve been a silent admirer of your blog for the past few years. Your blog is one of the very few platforms that allow nationalistic Indians to share their thoughts with each other. Keep up the good work. May your tribe increase. 🙂

SB: Congratulations on this achievement. I had an opportunity to meet Michael Dell once when Dell was at its peak and one of the participant asked him how does he feel that his company is No 1 now and he responded saying ” when we got there, I spend exactly 60 seconds thinking about it and moved on” I am sure this a fantastic achievement but we have a very long way to go. I will surely travel with you in this journey of making India a better place. May all that what is written in “breaking india” may fall apart and may all that is written in “transforming india” come true. All the very best.
