A primer on Jammu & Kashmir – in Hindi

Dear Friends, it is my great pleasure to present these slides on Jammu & Kashmir in Hindi. These slides are based on a talk I gave at LSE in London earlier this year. A few weeks back, I had requested readers for help and assistance in translating the slides into other languages..Mohini Puranik kindly volunteered..and this is the fruit of her efforts. She will shortly be translating these slides into Marathi as well..

Needless to add, I need many more helping hands...not because Mohini is unwilling or unable – but because the effort is huge and the work keeps growing..At last count, there are more than a dozen presentations on slideshare that I would love to have translated and hundreds of blog posts on a range of topics which I dream of someday making available in all the Bharatiya languages…

    I am a follower of your blog. I can do the translation in Gujarati, if you like. Just let me know. As for my prowess in the language, I might say that I have published a book in Gujarati and other two are on the way.

    friends, great idea. as far as i know most indians do not know much about kashmiri and the kashmir issue. hence it is necessary to make information on kashmir available to all in their language. south indians dont know anything about kashmir, so translations in these languages must be a great step aahead. thanks, asha
