Quote of the week – Living in Hope
External Affairs Minister S M Krishna (in Rajya Sabha on 30th July ’09):
In spite of Pakistan’s reluctance to help us to improve our relations, India’s endeavour will be to continue to impress upon Pakistan that we have to have good neighbourly relations…
Our hope is that Pakistan will see sense in such kind of approach.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
what a eunuch? Coming from a Kannadiga makes it worse for me! Pakistan is indulging in a war of thousand cuts and yet our netas refuse to see it. Sometimes I wish that parliament attack was successful and these Congi/Commie benches were wiped clean in that!
WTF! There’s a rabid dog in your neighborhood which has bitten you once. You had to take medical treatment, visit psychologists to get rid of the trauma. Now the next time do you go and hug the rabid dog again?
What a self -deluded nincompoop of which sadly Bharat’s ruling classess are profusely littered.!
Wrong Title! It should read, “Living in a Fool’s Paradise”!

@Kiran
While I am inclined to agree with you, their are larger stakes at issue. Certainly, Bharat’s pussy footing on the Mumbai attack has allowed Pakistan to escape unpunished.
The only peace Bharat has ever known is when the British governed it. Most of the rest of the last two thousand years were one’s in which Bharat was constantly assailed.
I would be the first to argue that a war with Bharat’s enemies needs to be ruthlessly executed but it has to be waged towards winning the peace which has so far proved elusive.
Bharat’s ancient rulers would have more readily grasped strategic conceptions in which our present day leaders have notably failed.
Radio Pakistan views PM’s heart surgery caused by Brahmin leaders: See, how they promote good neighbourly relations.

It is time India views the terrorist state not as a good neighbour but a perennial thorn in the flesh and necessary operation performed before gangrene sets in.
@Khandu Patel
“political settlement with the Taliban”
I am opposed to this idea, so I am not able to digest these developments. This is what I meant by my words. I believe a full fledged war against Islamic Terrorism ( AfPak, Bangladesh wherever they are ) is necessary instead of limited war focussed on what US perceives it to be against only it’s interests. So, yes, I agree with you.
