It is now “official” – ISI is NOT under the control of MoD…

It is now “official” that the Pakistani Army has no control over ISI. 

From “The Dawn”: KARACHI, July 11: …The ministry of defence exercises only administrative control over Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Military Intelligence (MI) and it does not have any operational control or jurisdiction to enforce the court’s direction on these agencies, an official of the ministry informed the Sindh High Court on Tuesday.  

So Musharraf is probably helpless in this matter…makes the case even stronger for India to take direct action and stop asking the Pakistani government to do something… 

What do others think?
