Pathetic or Disgusting? You Decide..

This is WTF Moment of the 30th of March, 2011 AD. Record it in history. Indian Cricket Team toiled for a well deserved victory and moments after the victory, NDTV home page, shows this. Can you imagine?!.

For those of you who may be curious, there are other, better(?) examples of this technique at work.

Saw this Sir. It seems INC has bought some percent of stakes of NDTV! It hurts! Seriously!

Disgusting sir. Totally disgusting. I first saw twitter user @gopalanprasanna tweet about it. Credit goes to him.

Even a Manmohan-Gilani pic wouldnt have been such a big deal. But Rahul Gandhi? Why? He isnt even MoS Sports! History will ask NDTV “Where were your loyalties – with India or with Gandhi family?”

    haha INC TV !

It hurts! pathetic and disgusting! In Hindi I say “Chamchagiri” and cheap loyalty.

Absolutely disgusting. Seems like INC’s Propaganda page! Forget the boys who toiled, forget Sachin, forget the PMs of both fighting nations. It’s monarchy over credentials in this country!

    Why so much disgust !?

The media has been bought out. Black money has destroyed the backbone of India.

When we have all lost the ability to be shocked… nothing shocks any more.

If an Ashok Chavan or a private company selling ball point pens can buy news to plant false encomiums on any page of promient media… it is natural that you pay a little more in cash or kind, and you can buy a little more… logical, right ?

The channel has always had its allegiance firmly in place with the INC (and not to forget the Communists).

A news channel that use it’s political clout to intimidate a blogger for highlighting a case of severe lack of regard for national security, can always stoop to this new low to further their interests.

    Shame on them.

  • 10. J said:

What’s so surprising about it ? Channel ran by likes of Prannoy Roy and burka dutt will be like this only.

I strongly suggest boycotting NDTV. There is minimum of honesty expected of journalists even in India where journalists are regularly bought out, but this is absolutely beyond imagination. They know that the entire country will be watching, so why not give a free kick to Rahul Gandhi? Subliminal advertising at the worst. Total propaganda, that even Hitler would have praised.

Why Rahul? Why not me or you? – Because I and you are honest people who want to bring true change and and Rahul is the head of a gang of crooks who wants to loot India even further? All the rewards in India are for the crooks, it would appear.

    I’m beyond angry. I’m speechless.

Okay, so they put Rahul Gandhi on the home page. Haven’t you people heard of gratuitous b*tt-kissing? All for brownie points, to be redeemed sometime in the future.

I think they removed it now, couldn’t see this image anymore in their site. I am surprised that they felt uncomfortable with this expose and removed the pic so fast, I would have expected them to stand firm on their loyalty rather.

Someone joked that NDTV stood for Nehru Dynasty Television.

This is height of sycophancy. Most corrupt media house of nation NDTV. This is the same media house whose Barkha Dutt did lobbying in govt to loot exchequer, Pranoy Roy who is responsible for 5Cr loss in 1990s to DD and is facing a charge-sheet by CBI

Go to hell you boot-licking thugs, crooks.
Truly NDTV – Nehru Dynasty TV

As Sanjeev said: time to boycottt NDTV

    Jai Bharat!

Disgusting yes, but not the least surprised.

NDTV=Nehru Dynasty TV, once this is clear every thing falls in place. I have no idea why people watch TV news in India especially NDTV,CNN-IBN , Times Now. Eenadu TV is far better

I think one sees what one’s primed to see. I wasn’t sure what the outrage was about till I read the comments. Why?

Because what I noticed was the sidebar advertisement which says: “Not for 7 million children under 5 who are malnourished”. The internet has a handy term for such occasions: YMMV. :-)
