Media has become such a joke…I was also confused when I read this yesterday…My blood started boiling when I read the first clip as that would be accepting defeat.

Searched other sites to confirm if it was true and 10-12 hour later saw the denial from MEA.

    So much for journalism…..

This may be not the part of topic but shares the same discussion of media. In recent time there was rumors in media that Swami Nityananda is absconding and fled to Haridwar. But Swami Nityanada website shown the calendar of event one months before the incident that he will be attending Kumbh Mela in Haridwar from March 4th to March 14 or 18 something. I was shocked how the media can twist the news without going into details.

As expected, the pseudo secular media has chosen to ignore/downplay/manipulate the news about the terrorist Shahzad naming Abu Azmi and a Congress member about helping him.

Its seems, even the Daily Pioneer is now becoming ‘secular’ and only Sify has been showing this news prominenetly. Pioneer, though had this news on the front page, didn’t highlight the names of the ‘traitors’ from our PM’s favorite community.

    http://sify.com/news/abu-azmi-helped-me-says-delhi-blast-suspect-news-national-kdlpCfjffgi.html

TOIlet paper and CNN IBN call them “a former UP MLA” and “SP MP” and have downplayed this news (only if you read the whole news, you will come to know who are the traitors”

As always, the language is careful “said report” “Shahzad admitted” but no “BJP MP helped Malegaon blastS suspects”

    Where are we heading? :(

And the clean chit is already out:

    Congress politician inadvertently helped terrorists

No “Congress politician SAYS HE inadvertently helped terrorists” here…

Anupam, Indian: Thanks for your observations…Any talk of Indian media these days makes me either sad or angry… Not good at all.

Hemant: Thanks for the links…particularly at #4. I had missed it.

    Shantanu,
Have you given the thought that the term “Indian media” is a blatant indictment of the concept of mass media? Have you heard the term Vidushaka? Those are the people who used to entertain kings by speaking favourably to him. Today’s media, specially those of ELM, are people who perform the acts similar to Vidushakas, only here king is replaced by Gandhis.
In a more frustrated or irritated mood, I prefer to call ELM people media pimps, but not all of us can be that uncharitable, can we? :)

    What a Joke!

It was in the news that Narendra Modio is being called for SIT appearance on 21 March and he did not appeared. The News followed was “The Congress criticized Modi for not appearing before the SIT, saying his action was “contemptuous” and showed that he “loves to hide”.

Replying to this Recently Mr. Modi said that media and the congress was so happy to defame Modi, that they even forgot that 21 was the Sunday and holiday.

Media and congress fooling the people before April 1st.
