Thanks, Shantanu. I came across this only today. I did see the LP website quite some time ago, and am sorry to see it degenerate pretty badly. Infighting and confusion has clearly prevailed.

The issue here is one of culture. The Freedom Team (http://freedomteam.in/) needs to consciously steer away from anything that builds mountains (‘presidents’ and hierarchies) out of molehills. Solid ordinary citizens is what we need: open, transparent, capable of working in a team without losing their identity in any form or shape. Citizens, not followers. Working towards their freedom; not working towards power.

I might also add that these guys had invented new worldviews and frameworks that had NO relationship with the theory and practice of governance, as developed and understood after hundreds of years. Thus, the underpinning philosophy of LP wouldn’t have helped India anyway either.

If there were genuine citizens from among the erstwhile members of LP, FTI could consider associating with them, but very carefully – and after screening them for philosophical compatibility and team work. It does take quite a different kind of personality to associate with harebrained schemes like LP.

I read about them in a newspaper back in 2005/2006 when they were about to launch the party. I too was very hopeful & optimistic and thought thsey are the guys. But what their website says now is pathetic.
I would’ve thought many (or all) other political parties might’ve played to sabotage them (by threat/bribery and all)as it’s definite people were always hoping for a change. Now i realise Rajgiri is a skill (that one can’t get by education) and by the time one learns it through th eleading parties he would be pretty much same as the leaders we have now.

Baba Amte was the only person in modern India capable of being given a god like status. He selflessly worked for the poor throughout his life.

Such people and organisations are only loved by India media as they need daily fodder to run channels. This guy who heads the party has 2 MA degrees and has a Btech from IIT. Rather than becoming a good scientist or engineer he chose to waste his skills on politics. I wouldnt be surprised if joins the naxals or terrorists tomorrow.

The Indian media will still hail him – IITian joins Naxals – LOL

I wouldnt like to mention my Name over here. I was once a part of this organization when in was at its nascent stage, but after meeting these two Brothers Tanmay Rajpurohit and Chandrashekhar Rajpurohit and after understanding their idea of 21st Century India and their rude and sycophant behaviours , All of us left the organization.

As of now Just the National President of Lok Paritran is the only person in the organization left. And his own family has disowned him and they have logged criminal complaints and law suits against him.

Lok Paritran once a promising organization has been brought down like a pack of cards by CHandrashekhar Rajpurohit n his brothers.

Further SHANTANU IF the guy(CHandrashekhar Rajpurohit) reads your blog.. maybe even he might put your photo as a personal threat to him or Traitor or a co-conspirator on his WEBSITE.. Haha

my initial impression after a cursory glance supports his stand. no sane man would write all these whatever be the provocation. but one never knows the depth to which the human mind can plumb.
