Mumbai Attacks, 26/11 etc – Part III

Please continue the discussion on Mumbai attacks, 26/11, Pakistan’s role in terrorist activities etc on this thread. I am closing comments on the earlier thread due to comment overload.

Thanks.

UPDATE: Am reproducing the last four comments from the earlier post below for the sake of continuity.

Comment by Tarique:

patriot , why r u taking the qasab confession in nair hospital in mumbai very seriously and citing the public prosecutors argument in court . r u aware that a confession given to police is not admissible in a court of law ? let me give u a similiar example of saqiq shaikh picked up from the trombay muslim area of cheetah camp near chembur .the crime branch arrested him and took his ‘on camera’ confession . he confessed on camera and it was relayed all over the media that he belonged to deccan mujahideen and he personally placed the bombs in ahmedabad , jaipur , mumbai , delhi and american centre attack in calcutta . when the camera confession evidence was placed in a courtroom , the mumbai ATS came to his rescue . the mumbai ATS successfully proved it in court that sadiq shaikh was tortured and beaten up in the lock up by crime branch officers …..that out of fear of beating he confessed to the 2006 mumbai train bombings and other attacks . the judge accepted the argument and freed sadiq shaikh leaving the mumbai crime branch red faced . today sadiq shaikh is a free man .

arif qasmani has been described as a rich millionaire businessman from karachi . what was arif qasmani’s business ? what was he dealing in ? what was he buying and selling ? any proper answers that can help solve the jigsaw puzzle of 26/11 attacks ? why was dawood henchman mohammed ali ,the undisputed king of the mumbai docks ,left untouched by the investigating agencies ? why was mohammed ali allowed to contest lok sabha polls on a BSP ticket from south mumbai seat ?

@ tarique –

i do give a lot of importance to the nair hospital testimony, as kasab gave it freely and proudly. It is up to his lawyer to prevent it from being sworn into evidence. So far the prosecutor has said that it will be introduced.

and, as far as the rest of ur crack conspiracy theories go – please take it to other sites where these are welcomed. I am sure the jews are quaking in their boots knowing that tarique is getting ready to expose them.

as far as ali is concerned, why don’t u ask the bsp that question? And, if u have evidence of wrong doing, take it to the courts – they will give u a patient hearing, i am sure.

and, pls don’t waste any more bandwidth on the conspiracy theories. I have heard them all including the one where the western powers faled the holocaust to take away muslim land.

Comment by Tarique (Edited):

i do not give a lot of importance to the public prosecutor ujjawal nikam or the defense lawyer abbas kazmi or the judge m.l. tahilyani ….the entire 26/11 trial is a big ‘farce’ and centres only around ajmal qasab. the real conspiracy that took place in taj ,oberoi and nariman house is being kept hidden by these law enforcers . ujjawal nikam wastes an entire days courtroom proceedings arguing whether qasab should be allowed to read books in jail or not .are we indian taxpayers spending lakhs on nikam’s security to argue about qasab’s reading hobby ? nikam is arguing the case on the lines that taj hotel was attacked to liberate kashmir from india…….do u believe his theory ?

patriot , i find u very naive to again drag a meaningful discussion to a person’s religion . when i name culprits of 26/11 , i have no interest in their religion or faith . i believe there is a dangerous mafia in everything……that mafia people are a group that has members of all faith and religion . mafia activities globally has muslims , hindus ,jews christians ,buddhists ,communists and even parsis and jains .the sole intention of the mafia is stakes in their profits . they are ruthless and shockingly very secular .how can u explain the cosy relationship between bharat shah ,a jain, and dawood ibrahim (now a karachi based mafia don ) ? how will u describe the clout of mohamed ali ,the dock mafia king whose clout extends from mumbai docks to the coasts of gujrat and who is lovingly referred to as ‘mohammdeah’ by his maharashtrian friends in the NCP ,congress , BJP and shiv sena ? how about the mutual trust between karachi diamond mafia and gujrat diamond mafia ,when rough african diamonds are illegally smuggled in fishing trawlers from karachi shores to surat diamond polishig streets without any regard for the ‘kimberely process certification ‘ ? lets move back to the 1800’s mumbai dock mafia …….david sassoon and members of the TATA family smuggled banned opium to china with full support of british officers from the sassoon docks .if u have heard of the ‘sassoon dock ‘ in colaba ?opium trade from india through the british supported sassoon trust was responsible for raising funds to separate macau and hong kong from china .

    @ Tarique –

You are the conspiracy theorist here, not me. And, I have met many of your ilk (electronically) who are convinced that the jews were behind 9/11.

And, I have only contempt for the likes of you and your kind – either put up the evidence or shut up. I am not interested in what you think, but what you can provide evidence for. Kasab’s confession and eyewitness accounts are evidence. As is the recent statement by Zardari that Pakistan has supported terrorists against India in the past (As an aside, Shantanu, I am surprised that there is no post on this topic)

I am not interested in debating inane conspiracy theories with you or your brothers.

“how will u describe the clout of mohamed ali ,the dock mafia king whose clout extends from mumbai docks to the coasts of gujrat and who is lovingly referred to as ‘mohammdeah’ by his maharashtrian friends in the NCP ,congress , BJP and shiv sena ?”

For starters, prove the above statement. Then, we shall continue.

    Shantanu –

If you wish for your blog is dominated by delusional, conspiracy theorists, that is your outlook.

I am done dealing with this “brother” until he comes up with evidence for the above mentioned libellous statement.

    Thanks

@ Patriot: Thanks for pulling me up (I mean in a nice way)!

@ Tarique: You are again on a very slippery slope…I did not open this thread to entertain your conspiracy theories but to provide a thread to link the emerging evidence and other details related to the attacks…

You have time and again made statements that simply do not not make sense or are nto backed by any evidence at all…

Any more comments from you that are not backed by evidence or clear references – and/or are nonsensical (in my opinion) will be deleted.

I would like this blog to be a place for serious discussion…I have also noticed on several other threads that you are continuing with your mafia theory and other similar ideas that do not make any sense….Pl. treat this as a word of caution…

I sincerely suggest that if you are so convinced about your own theories by all means start a blog or write to newspapers…Don’t waste my and my readers time on this.

Below are some examples of your statements just so you know what I am talking about:

arif qasmani has been described as a rich millionaire businessman from karachi

    Who is this guy?

why was dawood henchman mohammed ali ,the undisputed king of the mumbai docks ,left untouched by the investigating agencies ?

What do you mean “left untouched”? and on what basis are you saying this?

why was mohammed ali allowed to contest lok sabha polls on a BSP ticket from south mumbai seat ?

Again, not clear…I am sure you know that there is no bar on “suspects” contesting elections (E.g. Abu Salem, Sanjay Dutt, to name just two)

Also, pl. watch your words…You are exposing not just yourself but also me to a libel case by saying things without a shred of evidence .

the real conspiracy that took place in taj ,oberoi and nariman house is being kept hidden by these law enforcers .

OK, I have a suggestion…Pl. stand at Gateway of India and start a petition against the investigation….That may be more satisfying than leaving comments on my blog.

    @Tarique,
I agree, apparently Amitabh was there giving instructions to the team on his mobile!

    @Patriot,
Zardari’s statement mentioned not just support, but creation, sustenance and garbage disposal for the terrorists. After all ISI one of the biggest terrorist organizations in the world is Government run.

  6. Patriot says:

    @ DD –

I agree, that is why I have been surprised by the lack of a post on this topic. We are forcing the issue here!

Zardari is most likely still playing a double game, but the revelation once out can not be retracted.

Just like the revelations by the PAF commander that Nawaz Sharif was fully aware of the Kargil “adventure”.

Bottomline: Operation sunder Pakistan apart has to continue.

  7. B Shantanu says:

Patriot, DD: Really, what is there left to say? Zardari’s “revealations” are hardly new (or “news”) except in the narrow sense that they an admission of fact by the highest elected official in Pakistan (unless I missed something big).

You are right, I was amiss in not even posting a link as a comment on some post…I should perhaps do that- if nothing, to at least document what has been said…

The remarks can provide us with a huge amount of diplomatic ammunition, I agree…but as we all know, even the best guns need someone to fire them – otherwise they end up in museums (and in case of revealations, in archives).

As for Kargil, you probably missed my comment (#9) here.

P.S. I just checked a few reports re. Zardari’s comments and he has not clearly mentioned Jammu & Kashmir (or India) in his remarks. The escape clause appears in-built…there is no mention of “terrorists against India” Unless I missed something?

  8. Patriot says:

    @ Shantanu –

I did read “Kashmir” being mentioned by Zardari (apart from Afghanistan) – let me see if I can dig up the actual quote.

It may have been in Dawn (of Pakistan), quoted by Indian Express. The admission was big news in the Paki newspapers, with the big papers applauding Zardari.

And, he did not use the word “terrorists”, he called them “militants” and “extremists”.

  9. Patriot says:

This was one comment I had read on Kashmir – but, this is inference, as far as I can see –

  10. Patriot says:

Here is the actual editorial in Dawn.

  12. Dirt Digger says:

    @Patriot, @Shantanu,
It is in India’s best interests, as per Chanakya-niti that all our neighboring countries struggle with internal issues. We don’t have any significant trade with any of our neighbors (who make up a list of deadbeat nations). Why not keep them busy by fomenting their internal strife? After all they have not been too reluctant to do the same when given an opportunity.
Unfortunately the Indian Civil servants are filled with clueless bums who don’t know foreign policy from fine manure. (Per discussions with my uncle who is a Cabinet secretary and a family friend is a retired foreign secretary).
If we had some competency in that area we would be in far stronger positions world wide on several areas.

That’s what al-taqiyah is all about. Within 2 posts once this trend can be identified it’s best to block it as it wastes everyones time.

  15. Patriot says:

    @ DD –

I, for one, agree with you – the problem was that I K Gujaral shut down Section 14 when he was PM on “humanitarian” grounds. Hearsay is that an equivalent restarted sometime in the past 5 years.

But, with Bangladesh, I would adopt a different tactic – keep sweetening them up, and buying out their army, with the ultimate aim of reunification. If we are to combat china on the north-east border, with their client state on the eastern border, we have to get Bangladesh back into the Indian Union.

Else, I think there is a very good chance of the north-east getting detached. We, of course, have to spend a lot more money on infrastructure in the north-east and am happy to see that this process has at least started.

    Cheers

If this is your “evidence” to prove that the target of 26/11 attacks were diamond traders and/or diamond trade, I am afraid you have to do better than this.

  23. Nishka says:

    Shantanu,
Do not dismiss what Tarique is saying. Mumbai attack had to have a lot of people and vested interests involved.
Some of the statements he has made are not inaccurate.
We Indians are so obsessed with the occupied western part of India (Pakistan) that we forget about geopolitical plays.
Let me through out one example disconnected from Mumbai – Why is there a burgeoning naxal problem in Indias mineral rich areas? Why is there so much conversion activity in AP, TN, NE India and Punjab?
India is a target of geopolitical design and unless we look at the big picture, we will continue to miss the forest for the trees.
The people at the ground level – Kasab etc might be motivated by some weird fanaticism but their handlers are not.

  24. B Shantanu says:

@ Nishka: Pl. do go through Tarique’s five links above and do let me know how they help us understand “geo-political plays”.

While looking at the bigger picture is no doubt useful, it does not help when we mix up issues such as conversions, Naxal problem and Jihadi terrorism.

And which vested interests (other than ISI, LeT etc.) do you think were involved in the attacks in Mumbai in Nov ’08?

  25. Nishka says:

    Shantanu,
I do believe as do many of others that the anglo combine was involved with the Mumbai attacks. Just the way they funded Punjab terrorism, NE and Kashmir, this is another extension of the same.
To not see the link between conversions and naxal problem (esp after what happened to Dayanand Saraswati) is dangerous. Also given the biggest funds and arms providers to Pakistan is the anglo combine speaks volumes.
Tariques postings might be incoherent but there is a grain of truth. He is trying to look at the connections.
It is not wise for use Indians to cleanly compartmentalize all the issues in India.

  26. PasserBy says:

I suggest Tarique to read what Irfan Husain of Pakistani Newspaper, Dawn has been writing.

When Irfan Husain wrote a couple of columns last year sympathising with the victims and condemning the killers and their supporters in Pakistan, he received a flood of angry emails, demanding to know the proof that linked the terrorists to Pakistan. Now he feels vindicated.

Check this out: irfan husain of dawn (pak) after seeing the channel 4 video (dispatches) of the mumbai invasion

This is a good read for all Tariques of the world.

    Shantanu,

Somehow whatever Tarique says in the second comment(edited) makes sense. I have myself wondered, as to how so much of ammunition came into the Taj, without the knowledge of the hotel staff or without the staff being a party to it. But, that’s on a different note..

But, what have we done as Indians:
    a. We gave gallantry awards to three police men who least deserved the same – at least they died as lame ducks!
    b. Mumbai citizens lit a few candles here and there everything died off after that.
    c. We voted for the same government back in power.
    d. We have poured comments in various blogs, but, what has been done by us on the ground. We are really taking all this lying down.

    *** UPDATE ***

Since yesterday, Tarique has sent me a dozen odd links all of which have something to do with the diamond trade. Some of the links do not work, some are merely links to wikipedia pages on diamond or information on diamonds; others have information about illegal diamond mining etc.

There is no commentary accompanying the links – nor any explanation.

I have zero interest in Tarique propagating his “diamond traders conspiracy theory” on this blog so I have deleted all the links.

Tarique has also sent me some fairly sarcastic and insulting comments which reflect his attitude towards a debate/ healthy discussion.

Anyways, enough on this for now.

  32. Patriot says:

I remember hearing a couple of Police Inspectors say, in the days immediately after 26/11, that the bodies from Nariman House would not undergo autopsy as the people had been badly assaulted (including sexual assaults) and the bodies were mutilated – a description of the bodies would only inflame passions in India and Israel. And, then someone seems to have put a lid on these disclosures.

The above link posted by Shantanu has lifted the lid again:
“Photographs taken by a police forensic team after the hotel was sanitised yield a gruesome picture of some of the guests in the nude.

These bodies were found away from the hotel’s swimming pool which makes it clear that they were not those guests who were taken hostage from the poolside.

“Even the Rabbi and his wife at Nariman House were sexually assaulted and their genitalia mutilated,” said a senior officer of the investigating team, not wishing to be quoted.”

Why have these details not been made public in India – let us depict, truly, what beasts these terrorists are and how they deal with their unfortunate victims, in the name of the Quran – so that, all those “progressives” who want to make excuses for them are shut up, once and for all.

Let us shut down all the Wahhabi madrassas in India, and ban funding from Saudi Arabia.

Let us shut also shut down the Deobandi school in UP, which has done so much to radicalise the muslim youth in India.

It is time for a reckoning.

  33. Ajay says:

    *** COMMENT EDITED ***

    @ Patriot,

When everything is for the vote-bank, how do we expect the Govt. to ban the Wahhabi madrassas and the Deobandi school? They cannot afford to annoy the muslims, specially when the government at the centre thinks that the Congress is in a resurgent mode?

It is a really sad state when we know the facts, but, still tend to ignore them. In case of Kasab too, we know that he is a part of the whole conspiracy. In the coming years I do see Kasab actually being set free. When will we get a state which will be as brutal with these terrorists as they have been. They have to be punished as nobody has been ever.

When I see these pictures, It really bothers me. Anybody could have been there in their place – I, you, our families, and, even the families of the people in the government. And, it would still be the same for us!

to all those who want to give a communal overtone to the 26/11 blood stained photographs , let them be reminded that 32 of the dead bodies were muslims . terrorists know no race or religion coz they are into big profits .coming back to the legal argument on 26/11 chargesheet that runs into 11000 long pages…..has the ISI , PAKISTAN GOVERNMENT OR PAKISTAN ARMY BEEN CHARGESHEETED ? the answer is ‘no’ . the 26/11 chargesheet being argued in court by the special prosecutor does not mention any of these parties as the culprits . then what are we arguing in court for ? ……to hang qasab unto death ? if that is case then the argument should have ended in a single session with all the video evidence at disposal .by not naming the pak army or ISI or government in the 26/11 chargesheet ….are we not giving a legal sanction to the ‘non state actors’ theory ? then what is the difference between pakistan and us ? one reason why i find the whole prosecutors argument a big ‘farce’.

  35. B Shantanu says:

@ Tarique: Regardless of number of Muslims (or Christians or Hindus) killed, do you accept that the Mumbai attacks were a manifestation of Jihadi terror?

  36. tarique says:

shantanu , u should look into the 26/11 chargesheet to decide if it was a jihadi manifestation from a legal point of view . any legal expert will tell that the charges framed in the chargesheet point to a criminal conspiracy or a gangland affair . the 26/11 chargesheet was not prepared by any jihadi group .the weak chargesheet is one of the reasons why india will never be able to contest and challenge the release of hafiz sayeed by pakistan at the NAM summit in cairo .india’a best legal experts and international diplomats have already accepted defeat before the NAM summit , when kanwal sibal and g.parthasarthy said pakistan have the upper hand for now .

  37. B Shantanu says:

@ Tarique: Pl. stick to the topic being debated. I asked you whether the Mumbai attacks were a manifestation of Jihadi terror?

You have not given me a clear and direct answer.

Pakistan caller 2: Everything is being recorded by the media. Inflict the maximum damage. Keep fighting. Don’t be taken alive.
Pakistan caller 1: Kill all hostages, except the two Muslims. Keep your phone switched on so that we can hear the gunfire.
Mumbai terrorist 2: We have three foreigners, including women. From Singapore and China.
    Pakistan caller 1: Kill them.
(Voices of gunmen can be heard directing hostages to stand in a line, and telling two Muslims to stand aside.

    ***

Terrorists do sometimes know a race and religion – perhaps not always..but in this case they certainly did.

The attack was inspired by a violent ideology. Are you denying that?

Again, I want a simple “yes” or “no” and not any convoluted explanation.

Also see this extract from the earlier link (at my comment #32):

Inside the hotel, 15 guests were rounded up to be shot (video part II minute 9:18) when one of the wives of those about to be executed shouted, Stop, stop, don’t shoot, my husband is a Muslim! And he was spared.

And with the massive attacks on a number of targets – hotels, railway, the primary focus was the little Jewish house.
When asked during interrogation why Nariman House was specifically targetted, Ajmal reportedly told the police they wanted to sent a message to Jews across the world by attacking the ultra orthodox synagogue.

See also: Jihadists see “Invasion” as Triumph

Do you still believe that this attack had nothing to do with Jihad or Islamist ideology?

  38. B Shantanu says:

One more thing, Tarique: Would you care to answer the questions raised in the post linked below truthfully and honestly?

Will the Darul Uloom now declare war on Islamism?

Pl. provide the answers via the comments section of the above-mentioned post *not* on this thread.

my answer is a firm and solid ‘no’. global terrorism or ‘jihad’ as u enjoy calling it has no links to any religion of this world including islam . terrorist groups whether linked to politics or religious agenda are mafia criminals and should be brought to justice along with the big corporates and big banks that fund their inhuman adventure .that is exactly what i m trying to do .coming back to ur oberoi trident telephonic conversation , u need to be reminded that this info was provided by FBI through the (voip )callphonex voice over internet protocol server based in new jersey in america . here we are totally relying on the FBI from the legal point of view .the FBI will depose in court on this proof they provided india by july end .so this conversation has still to be debated in court .to your observation on the ultra orthodox jew centre being targetted , u must first do a comprehensive study on the ultra orthodox chabad lubavithcher jews , their rivalry with palanpuri jains of india in the diamond trade stakes from antwerp to london to tel aviv to surat . it is a story about human greed for the glitter…….how an age old friendship between generations of diamond traders of lubavitchers and jains turned into enemity when the jains overtook the jews in world diamond trade .the links of lubavitchers to diamond mafia groups worldwide including mumbai and karachi . i was busy observing a lot of developments on 26/11 right from the end of NAM summit to the arrival of hillary clinton and tim roemer to india .i advise u to watch the english movie ‘charlie wilson’s war ‘to get a proper idea how the foundation stone of global jihad was laid .where the billions that fund these fanatic groups come from ? the natural resources in the land where these jihadi groups exist .i can look into the eye of the families of victims who died in these attacks and say it is multinational corporates and multinational banking behind it .my views are strenghtened by the views of kavita karkare and vinita kamte who are both 26/11 widows . they are not blaming the jihadis….instead investigating within the police force for foul play . vinita kamte a lawyer by profession is being denied a right to hear atleast 10 minutes of deleted conversation her husband had before he died . the reason being cited is ……’top state secret’. u don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know how the guilty americans put pressure on india at cairo NAM summit . we went to talk 26/11 carnage , instead we ended up confessing our covert role in balochistan . it was a clear bending to american boots . then hillary clinton arrives in india . now ,the pakistani turn to bend to the boots . a 26/11 chargesheet is filed in pakistan ……..the arrested men are crew members of al hussaini and al fouz boats . all this ‘hoax’ is nothing new in international diplomacy . hafiz sayeed has done a hattrick in this game by escaping thrice in a row against india……2001 parliament attacks….2006 mumbai train blasts……and finally 26/11 . in all three cases he was under house arrest due to american presssure and then released due to lack of evidence . i would simply put all this in one line……….THE CON IS ON ‘.

I went through comments. Quite interesting comments. We tend to forget that in this present world power equation, US plays the major role. US has it’s own agenda and it will have to enforce the agenda if it has to be the ruler. It is another matter that it has been unable to solve any of the problems it addressed. Whatever be the reason behind the Mumbai attacks, it is now over. Given realty of India, it’s leaders, present and past, nothing is going to change… Sometime after more people will get killed and we will start all over once again. Kasab will get hanged but no one can practically explain why his trial is taking so long even with a dedicated court. I still remember the political hogwash carried out by our spineless leaders and unaccountable GANERU CLAN. MMS and PranMukhi were uttering war cries after Mumbai attacks and media was feeding on all sorts of feces and the output was also the same. Now our spineless leaders have catapulted to might of US and are licking Pakistani boots. Media is now appreciating the catapult and glorifying it. What a shame and what leaders Indians elect to lead nation.

rohit bhai , i was left baffled and speechless by a recent comment by home minister p.chidambaram where he said that he has no more information left on the 26/11 carnage and everything he had has been given to pakistan . he expressed hope that the pakistan courts would punish the guilty .now, that leaves us with only qasab in our hands and 9 stinking dead bodies in our expensive morgues . what do we do with qasab now ? we have enough evidence from our media sources to execute him . what are we waiting for when we have left our headaches for pakistan via p.chidambaram .

  42. tarique says:

rohit , in the mumbai carnage of 26/11 two 5 star hotels of mumbai were targetted i had claimed in mostly all my comments that DTC rough diamond mining was the prime reason behind it . now just take a look at the jakarta blasts which is a similiar modus operandi that involves mining .the scene is j.w.mariot ,jakarta , dining area of the hotel . 19 businessmen linked to mining are holding a business meeting .the terrorist wore a backpack very similiar to the taj and oberoi terrorists .he stood in the doorway of the dining room and asked ”did anyone request a laptop “.then the room exploded into blackness .three austraillian mining executives – garth mcevoy , diplomat craig senger ,and human resources manager nathan verity and one other westerner were killed in the attack , along with an indonesian hotel employee .three more died in almost the same manner at the ritz carlton hotel nearby killing three exectutives . it is time the whole world stood up and asked ”what are these big mining corporates upto ? ”

    @ Tarique: A few points:

1] Other than the fact that both Mumbai and Jakarta were Jihadi terror attacks, I do not think there is any comparison between the two.

2] a similiar modus operandi that involves mining What exactly is the mining connection here? That ONE of the four killed at Marriott was a mining executive??
    You can’t be serious.

3] “19 businessmen linked to mining are holding a business meeting” – The news-report you have quoted does not mention “linked to mining” – where did you get that?

    Shantanu,

why the indian government is not implimenting strict anti terrorism laws. They are afraid of what. The politicians should leave votebank politics and should realise the human value. For last 20 years scores of officers and jawans of army and other security forces have sacrificed their lives for the country, thousands of inocent people too have been killed by the terrorists. Now they are planning to hamper the indian economy, as such the govt. and all other political parties shouls stand together and findout a solution for the problem otherwise the nationalist people of india will loose the faith in the political system of india.

In my opinion Our PM recognizes in his mind that India has inefficient security laws and terror fighting and curbing policy. But what he can do especially he has to work as per orders from ITALY (Sonia Gandhi). ITALY thinks that in order to in power they cannot take any such action which would disturb their 13% votes of some special community.
Futher some coalition partners such as SP is in against framing tough terror laws like POTA because they too have some selfish political interest in UTTAR PRADESH.
Further genetically NEHRU GANDHI family which ruled this nation for many years have much sympathy towards some special community which can be considered as a hurdle in fighting terrorism .

After the attacks on Mumbai i.e., 26/11 We need mans like Ex CM of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, lal bhadur shastri , Vallabhai patel the iron man of india or NARENDRA MODI CM of Gujrat at the centre to fight and remove this terrorism from roots at the centre.

Excerpt from Indian Mujahideen helped Headley, Rana execute 26/11:

It is now more or less clear that arrested Lashkar-e-Tayiba operative David Headley had extensively used the Indian Mujahideen’s services to help carry out the 26/11 attacks.

Investigators told rediff.com that more than two people within the Indian Mujahideen provided logistical support to Headley and his accomplice Tahawwur Rana to survey the targets that were attacked during 26/11.

The name of Riyaz Bhatkal, the suspected chief of the Indian Mujahideen, had cropped up just after the Mumbai attacks. However, the Mumbai police then denied all possible local links and maintained that the attacks were planned and executed only from Pakistan.

Sources in the Intelligence Bureau and the National Investigating Agency now point out that most of the money required to execute the Mumbai attacks was routed through Bhatkal. He laid the groundwork and opened 20 bank accounts in different countries, most of them in the Gulf.

    http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=1e4_1246490858

The untold story of 2008’s terrorist attack on the Indian city of Mumbai. The story is told in the words of its victims and the gunmen. Produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Dan Reed, Terror in Mumbai tells the story of what happened when 10 Muslim gunmen held one of the world’s busiest cities hostage; killing and wounding hundreds of people while holding India’s crack security forces at bay.

Featuring footage of the attacks and interviews with senior police officers and hostages, including the testimony from Kasab – the sole surviving gunman, Dispatches reveals what happened, hour by hour, from the perspective of the security forces, the terrorists, their masterminds and the victims.

From Tape hints at Indian national in 26/11 control room by Praveen Swami and Vinay Kumar:

NEW DELHI: Evidence is emerging that Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba controllers who guided the course of the November 2008 assault on Mumbai may have included at least one Indian national.

In a five-and-a-half-minute conversation with Imran Babar — the Lashkar terrorist, who, using the code-name Abu Akasha, took control of a Jewish prayer house in the Colaba area — a still-unidentified controller who appears to have been a native Hindi speaker provided detailed instructions to the terrorist on the contents of a statement he hoped to make to the media.

The conversation was among more than 200 phone calls made by the Lashkar controllers to the assault team on voice-over-Internet and satellite phones.

During the conversation, the controller used words like karenga — characteristic Mumbai usage for the phrase “will do” — as well as gathbandan, in place of the Urdu word, ittehad, for alliance, and prashasan, instead of intezamiya or hukumat, for government. All other conversations recorded in the tape are in Punjabi, Urdu and heavily-accented English.

    *** COMMENT EDITED ***

Since its independence in 1947, India has been facing the problem of insurgency and terrorism in different parts of the country. For the purpose of this column, insurgency has been taken to mean an armed violent movement, directed mainly against security forces and other government targets, to seek territorial control; terrorism has been taken to mean an armed violent movement directed against government as well as non-government targets, involving pre-meditated attacks with arms, ammunition and explosives against civilians, and resorting to intimidation tactics such as hostage-taking and hijacking, but not seeking territorial control.

India has faced exclusively terrorist movements in Jammu and Kashmir, bordering Pakistan, and part insurgent-part terrorist movements in the northeast, bordering Myanmar and Bangladesh; in Bihar, bordering Nepal; and in certain interior states like Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Orissa that do not have international borders.

Article Published in Mail Today (of the India today group)

Rahul in party mood soon after Mumbai crisis
    Mail Today Bureau
    New Delhi, December 1, 2008

Even before the tears of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s mother could dry up, Congress general secretary and heir apparent Rahul Gandhi went partying with his pals at a farmhouse on Delhi’s outskirts.

The Prince partied hard, till 5 in the morning, on Sunday at the ‘sangeet’ for the forthcoming wedding of Samir Sharma, his childhood friend. They were at a sprawling farmhouse at Radhey Mohan Chowk, the haven of people who lead charmed lives beyond Chhatarpur.

Just a day earlier, his sister Priyanka Vadra had caused a flutter by saying the late Indira Gandhi would have “made us very proud” by the way she would have reacted to the Mumbai terror strikes. Mumbai appeared to be far from her brother’s mind as he boogied at the farmhouse with Samir Sharma, US-based furniture designer son of Captain Satish Sharma, the late Rajiv Gandhi’s flying partner who nursed the First Family’s pocketborough, Rae Bareli, till Sonia Gandhi chose to contest from there in 2004.

The Prince seemed to be completely out of sync with the mood of the nation post-26/11. Since Wednesday night, officials have been cancelling parties they were meant to host and even restaurants called off special events.

Saturday night’s ‘sangeet’ was a lavish affair. It was hosted by Leena Musafir, sister of the woman with whom Samir is getting married, and her husband Inder. The party was attended by over 800 guests, including regulars at Page 3 dos. “When everyone is cancelling parties or just keeping them low-key, Rahul Gandhi had no business to be celebrating. His action makes us lose faith in future leaders,” said Ajay Bahl, a leading corporate lawyer who was trapped in the thick of the action on 26/11 at The Oberoi, Mumbai, but managed to escape with the help of the hotel staff.

The Gandhis, including Sonia Gandhi’s mother Paola Maino, were present in strength at the 2004 wedding of Samir’s sister, Sarika, who is married to actorturned- TV producer Rahul Bhatt. Sarika and Rahul now manage a television production house.

The two families may be very close — Captain Sharma and his wife, Sterre, were present throughout the very private wedding of Priyanka Gandhi and Robert Vadra — but the circumstances now are very different.

As a guest at the ‘sangeet’ remarked on the condition of anonymity, “We were all partying, but none of us is a public person. Rahul Gandhi, however, is. He must be more responsible in his social appearances.

  71. Sid says:

I have seen this before. But here is a doubt:
Sarika, who is married to actorturned- TV producer Rahul Bhatt. Sarika and Rahul now manage a television production house.
Is it the same Rahul Bhatt who served as a pimp … er … host for the ghazi David Headley when he was in Mumbai? If that is the case, then no wonder that the story was suppressed. If that is the case then no wonder, Rahul Gandhi partied hard with those who allowed most disastrous terrorist attack in India.
Apart from this, our prince is dear pal of known India-baiter David Milliband. Be very sacred when this man assumes throne.

  72. Sid says:

    I mean scared, not sacred.

  73. B Shantanu says:

From 26/11′s Indian mole revealed and protected, November 27, 2013:
..The ten terrorists who carried out the 26/11 attack five years back were in the city much before the attack. They stayed in a hut which was used by an underworld operative connected to politicians at Machimarnagar, receed the targets and then launched the attacks on 26/11. The rest is history.

The above points had come up before the Ram Pradhan committee during their course of inquiry and the same was informed to the Central government, which appears not have acted upon this. Even the crime branch which carried out the investigation did not go into detail about this aspect and finally said that the terrorists landed on 26/11 and went about the attack almost immediately.
