Why no time for blogging only*

10 March 2009 4 views 2 Comments

Long time readers of this blog must have noticed that although I am posting a lot more articles than before, the number of “original” posts (i.e. written by me) has been dwindling over the past few months…

It is not because of writer’s block…or because I have run out of things to write about (in fact the list keeps getting longer)…

But since the past few weeks (especially beginning Feb), I have found myself more busy than ever – even though I am supposedly working only 1-2 days a week!

Of course as most of you know, I am involved in a number of initiatives on the political side of things…and these efforts have kept me away from the keyboard since the last few weeks…

I expect that this situation will continue for the foreseeable future…I will however strive to keep posting interesting, relevant and thought-provoking articles on the blog…so I hope (no, I am sure!) you will always find something interesting to read – either by way of comments or a post.

This week is slighlty less intense than last week…but only just so…

On Wednesday, I am in two fairly important meetings and then speaking at a TiE event in the evening. On Friday eve, we are doing a follow-up seminar at LSE, following on from where I left last week…(it was a huge success with 60+ students attending)

In addition, the work on Hope Summit is picking up momentum with a core group now set up (Thanks Amit, Dipinder, Rahul and Ritesh) and I am working on something very exciting with the FTI members (more on this soon). Plus I am seeing increasing interest in the monthly meetings here in London.

Stay tuned for more in the days to come…
