re brahmins and brahminism, i recommend you read Cho’Ramasamy’s books – unfortunatley it is in Tamil though many have requested him to translate into English. hope soon it will be available; it was certainly un eye opener for me. rgds

A tidbit from an interesting articleA ‘shot’ of confidence to dalits: DH: Have you encountered political resistance? SM: We have met with some but that is mostly uneventful. Irony is that when we started we thought Brahmins would oppose us but that did not happen.

There indeed is clear parallel between anti-semitism and anti-brahminism. Just as anti-semitism grew to genocidal proportions during WWII with the West looking upon unconcerned, a similar kind of situation is gradually building up with the collaboration of casteist gangs, politicians, the media and many others. The worst thing about Indian situation is that “Indian Jews” are openly collaborating with Indian Nazis to wipe out fellow jews.
