Is insulting national symbols the new “cool” amongst celebrities, politicians and national figures (see here and here)?
…or is it just plain ignorance/genuine mistake(s)?

They put everything down to uphold their self-interest. Such a shame and shameful people!
I would say it’s a on all those people’s part who are sitting around and not even a single person looks bothered that their national flag is spread in someone’s feet like a mat.
